it's very insane that syn sophia had refined the QOL controls of the style savvy series to a science, but decided to throw it all out the window for this game. this game is not style savvy, and if you expect style savvy you will be very disappointed. but even taking the game for what it is the characters and gameplay feel so vapid, and there's so many frustrating design choices that make no sense knowing who developed this one. they definitely needed another year on this one to make it feel less aimless

if i played this on the wii i think i would have broken my arm. good story, but strangely paced. zelda plays such an interesting role in this game, but they give her zero time and development to shine. i really enjoyed link's journey from being a lazy teenage boy to a determined hero, especially in the few moments they allow him to fail. unfortunately this journey is only in the first three dungeons of the game LOL

can you imagine if they made you pay money for each route in fe3h lol

nice to return to the world of xc1 and its gameplay. loved interactions between the main 4 + tyrea. but lol @ the story and villains. that dude really t-posed as he fell to his death.
genuine 3/5 bc the story is lame, but its bumped to a 3.5 solely because i got to see melia and shulk again

the gameplay improvements were insane. such a tight storyline and world design. its so good.

this ruined my life. what a great send off to the first saga of the xenoblade games. i have my issues with some things (a distinct lack of nikol/glimmer/panacea/linka screentime), but as a whole its really incredible. A is one of the best characters ever

best in the series. some plot things near the end left me very confused and dissatisfied (the villains), and the quests drove me insane. but the core game, story, and cast are truly incredible

i liked when a boulder crushed that dude after he talked about hope or something

the multiple pan shots on pyra's hips and boobs were actually fundamental to the story.
also i shouldn't have to watch a youtube tutorial to understand how the core gameplay works, but once you get it its pretty fun. didn't enjoy the beginning, but by the end i liked it.

pretty fun indie, not much to say. i hate that the music doesn't loop though so there's minutes of silence waiting for more music to play

most of the new encore content doesn't add much to the game, but having it on switch rules. if u like snappy jrpg gameplay and/or idol culture play this game

(aa2) it truly was "justice for all" phoenix wright.......
honestly this game is even better than i remember it being. the main three cases have such a strong emotional throughline that its hard to not care about them even at their most ridiculous moments. 2-2 and 2-3 do really well about giving a chance to humanize the guilty and bring attention to the wrongdoing they faced. and 2-4 is just really great ace attorney writing they've been trying to replicate since.

(aa1) edgeworth trauma = good game. would be a 4/5 but shu takumi went off in 1-4

first time playing the male side of p3, i feel like it holds up decently well. some of his exclusive slinks are very barebones/suffer weird writing decisions and i hate the auto-romance feature but there were some standout ones (yuko and mamoru esp).
i really do think femc p3p really is the best version of p3 after this lol. but i had fun!!! and cried like a baby!!! i hold the themes of this game very close to my heart. this game really gets what persona is about

2018

i'm still playing (and will be for a long time), but its very fun. love the characters
