I'll be honest, I got to the last dungeon and then trailed off and didn't touch it for two months. I've beat it before so you can't get mad at me! I'm just so desperate to move onto OoT lmaooo. very good game!

so fucking good! so satisfying and whimsical and bizarre with a perfect little gameplay loop. all the issues i had with this one were completely fixed in the follow-up, too--god, this whole series is just so good.

2021

would probably give it a 3.75 if i could. it seemed perfect for the first few hours, but there were a lot of tiny shortcomings and issues that added up and became visible after putting 9 hours into it. the scene at the start where the vocals for "Glider" kick in in the dunes is the absolute peak of the whole game, unfortunately--but it was a very good peak and it gave me chills because japanese breakfast is fucking amazing.

pretty much a perfect little indie game! so much fun to traverse, entertaining characters, good music, and it looked fucking GORGEOUS on the oled steam deck. great way to kill an hour or two

still got a couple side things to do but i officially beat the final boss and all the main areas. so fucking good but man am i EXHAUSTED by this point. so many fromsoft games back to back.

absolutely phenomenal remake. pls lord give us a dead space 2 remake!

Never NOT playing this game. It's the game I play whenever I don't know what to play, and as far as I'm concerned, it's perfect. Best coop game ever made.

pretty much perfect as far as boomer shooters go. ridiculously satisfying to play

2018

one of the best games i've ever played and one of the most unique methods of telling a story i've ever seen. shockingly, shockingly human and personal. also incredibly fucking funny
