Maybe it's because I've only played this on PC, but contrary to popular opinion this game looks amazing. Movement feels swift and precise. The colour choices, bullet visibility, contrast between foreground and background are top notch. Bullet patterns are innovative and mesmerizing. Despite trying horizontal shmups in the past, I've leaned heavily toward vertical shmups. However, I found Rolling Gunner to be so enjoyable that I can’t really hold this bias anymore. Visually, a gripe is that the green focus shot sometimes feels like it's coming at you rather than from you like an optical illusion. Another complaint is with the sound effect of enemies that have a propeller, they are painfully ear piercing to hear.

Lots of time spent playing Puyo Puyo on the N2DS XL, then I got a N3DS XL and tried out the 3D. It does look great, but the 2DS is lighter and more comfortable for long play sessions

I start playing and time melts away. Refreshing af. Sweet variety of cars and levels. Bring your own music, Mixcloud is your friend.

Frogger thrown into various scenarios and mechanics. You will get your Frogger fix and then some. The overall presentation, level locations and music went in an action movie direction. Maybe that’s exciting for some, but to me it felt unimaginative. Even still, fun times

I appreciate how the ship speed is customizable, although I wish the focus shot speed was as well, or a at least a bit faster. Love the variety of the ships, upgrades, enemies, level design, so much colour and character. Unfortunately the menu system and settings are janky. Bullet visibility could be better. The difficulty curve is nice and gradual. Great game overall, would recommend it to enthusiasts and newcomers.

Smooth af. Lots of cars and fun, diverse tracks. Excellent music, go listen to Night Stream!

I’d give this a 5 if it had dark mode

Love how crisp everything looks and bullet visibility is top notch

The story is drowsy and the dialogue is drawn out. Otherwise amazing!

Enjoyable, but man is it stressful

Excellent overall. Main complaint is the sfx when grinding metal surfaces. It’s ear piercing and painful to hear. None of the other Tony Hawk games have had this issue. There’s a lack of special tricks and to a lesser extent, movesets. Music is too predictable and bland, but thankfully I play on pc, so I just put on whatever I want while hearing the sounds of the game.
