started the game annoyed with it and with alan himself. what an annoying bastard. the controls are kind of shit, especially in combat, but the game grew on me so much that by then end i loved that annoying bastard. so so stoked to get through the sequel.

a good time sink, with a soft paper-like graphical feeling. i still prefer new leaf though.

i might not be the audience for this but of the soulslikes i’ve played this one had the least actual soul.
