I can't believe it took me over 6 years to beat this game but oh well it was fantastic there's not much to say besides that.

Really solid fan game but my main complaint is the repetitive level design. Some parts of the game feel way too much automatic and you go fast just for the sake of visuals. Speaking of the visuals, while this game is absolutely gorgeous sometimes the levels seem a bit too crowded, and I can't take what's in the foreground or background. For what it is it's really good and I really enjoyed my time with it, the soundtrack is also fantastic. 6/10

Pretty fun for a mobile game and it genuinely feels fantastic (with a controller) but the levels get repetitive pretty quick since you're just doing the same 5 things over and over and the visuals are about as interesting as a mayo sandwich.

I think this game has a ton of cool ideas but I feel like most ideas fell at least a little flat. The post game content isn't that crazy (which is usually one of the biggest appeals of a roguelike), the weapon variety is pretty meh, and once you have most things automated in your cult the few things you do have to do become pretty much a chore. Also, you reach a point with the automation that the rest of the upgrades you have to get feel pointless and you're kind of just upgrading for the sake of upgrading. I wish the building editor was a little easier to work with and more expansive too, like allowing a larger incentive for having decorations. The enemies and bosses begin to feel insanely repetitive with most of them falling into the same 1-4 categories. It isn't all negative though, the presentation of the game is really nice and the gameplay loop for the first couple of hours is really engaging and definitely when I had the most fun with the game, the combat also feels pretty satisfying. Overall, the game is pretty good but has a lot of flaws that bog it down for me, I'll definitely return for any free updates in the future though. 7/10

my second favorite game that involves portals, a weird male robot who wakes you up in an eery bedroom and turns out to be evil, a weird female robot who shows up in the second half who has connections to the male robot, and falling down into an abandoned underground part of a huge facility.

It's amazing everyone and their grandma knows it's amazing

Not much to say besides that it's really solid and it's just short and sweet Mario fun. Also Bowser's design goes incredibly hard. 8/10

This was probably my favorite in the trilogy. I loved the world itself as it felt like a true little adventure which significantly helped the vibes of the game. But vibes are not all that makes a game good of course, and I think the level design and gimmicks have also improved from 1 and 2, apart from the last world which unfortunately sucked. I will say the biggest downgrade for this game is the lack of diddy kong and a slightly worse soundtrack compared to the other 2 titles in the original trilogy. Otherwise, great game and the first DKC game I enjoyed almost all of the way through. 8/10

This review is probably my hottest take yet. While a lot is improved from the first game, notably the additional grab mechanics, level gimmicks, and dixie kong's hover ability, I do think the difficulty is a little ridiculous at times. In both this game and the first, the sheer lack of checkpoints makes wanting to fully 100% this game seem like more of a chore than something that is fun. The camera for this game seems just a little too zoomed in, making upcoming enemies unexpected and leads to a lot of frustrating deaths. I love difficulty especially in platformers, but this game really pushes my frustration too much that makes replayability seem like too much of a hastle, even if thats a big point of the game and it's collectathon gameplay. The bosses were more of a toss up in this game, but I really digged the sword fight. I like this game more than the first and I think there is a lot more notable levels that stick out positively. I will say that the artstyle, character design, and music for this game is absolutely phenomenal and is probably my favorite of any SNES game right next to Super Metroid and Mega Man X. An improvement over the first, but still a lot holding it back. 7/10

Outer Wilds is a game that I don't think I will ever stop thinking about. Before I came to my hypothesis on how to complete the game, I had to get off the game for about 6+ hours. During those 6+ hours my brain was churning of possibilities. When it comes to final bosses or endings in games I tend to over prepare myself, I don't want to lose that feeling of a cinematic ending due to my inability to win the battle or complete the final chapter. So, over those 6+ hours everything about this games' world and story began to click into place. I was ready to complete my journey. My heart was racing, after 15+ hours of playtime of wondering what the hell is going on and lots of confusion while only being given small senses of direction and a few helpful hints from people online, my journey was coming to an end. I don't think my hands have ever shook so much while completing a final puzzle in my life. Some may say the ending was underwhelming, but it was perfect for me. I'm a person who heavily struggles with the idea of death and it's constantly on my mind. Before I came to the ending, I was expecting a grandiose ending where the world was saved and somehow the sun wasn't going to go supernova and the universe wasn't going to end. But that's not what I got and I am grateful for that. What I got was a sad yet peaceful and calming ending of the universe ending just like intended. This games ending and just sitting and interacting with the people I have met on my journey around a campfire before the end of the universe gave me a tiny sense of calm to the idea of death that I have never had before. Everything will come together and everything is going to be okay. Thank you Outer Wilds development team for making this life-changing experience.

I can't believe the water levels were my favorite part of a platformer

Holy shit this game is so fun. I ended up abandoning Sonic Rush after the second zone with how many death pits there were, maybe I'll return to it eventually and like it more but I was getting way too frustrated. But, oh my god when I tried this game I was shocked I haven't heard more positives about it, every level was really great besides one act that I can remember. The side stuff wasn't that bad either, but I wasn't a huge fan of the backtracking that needed to be done or how long the boss fights were. But the unique setting was a nice mix up for a Sonic game. This game rides a fine line between classic sonic gameplay and brain empty boost gameplay pretty well. Pretty solid and definitely underrated. 7/10

This game is great up until the 6th act. Then all of a sudden satan became a sonic developer and created the worst sonic act ever, zone 6 act 1 where it is basically 3 acts in one. which is then proceeded by an okay act which is then followed by 2 shitty boss fights. I genuinely don't know what happened. Probably a skill issue, but I had to use save states for the last 3 acts in order for them to be bearable for me. Despite the horrific ending, the first 5 zones are a lot of fun and I was surprised with how much fun I was having. 6/10

Oh no way it's the game where the second best competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee stage is from!
