cute very short game. probably the closest thing we got to splatoon on PC. recommend since it's free and like half an hour to an hour long

i could probably play this game forever. infinite content. Noah if youre reading this please boot the game up and play it with me, you have no idea what youre missing out on

singleplayer mode is fun, enough to learn just a bit and get your feet wet. in regards to multiplayer, a pretty balanced roster with multiple game modes and a lobby system. lots to pick from to develop a main and the resources in the game help understand playstyles and some bread and butter's for a good kickstart into diving into a character. netcode is great, usually fine with wifi players but if its really bad i just dont rematch. training mode is very indepth and the QoL is fantastic. as a whole, really sets a good standard for future fighting games.

unfortunately, cosmetic pricing isn't great since i paid for the game and want to look cool. it doesn't really affect me that much since it has nothing to do with gameplay but i want that juri pj fit without forking over 10 bucks.

balance patch pacing feels really slow, something like twice a year might be great for keeping things fresh, but once a year is getting a bit stale.

survivors clone with great QoL and cast of chracters. no bias of course. comes alongside a cool side-game and runs are relatively quick. i always felt like the last 10 minutes of vampire survivor was just waiting around until the game just ends, but holocure has really good pacing for getting a build setup and experiencing the high of being strong

you gotta play the game just trust me

the worldbuilding and presentation of the game fits extremely well into the core of my existence as a human being. fun asf

HUGE step up from the previous game. i could immediately feel the satisfaction of the mechanics in the first 30 minutes. presentation wise, it only got more beautiful.

story, sound, world design were supreme. level design was also hella improved and it was so much more fun navigating this world with the movement in this game. it feels a lot more refined compared to the first game and i actually went and did as much of the optional stuff i could in the game. very slick and satisfying puzzles and interactions with the world.

backtracking was 10x better and the satisfaction from the movement makes it fun to even start backtracking. joined with the QoL, i liked going through the levels again and again but with better movement tech each time.

side scrolling sections are way better written. none of the "gotcha" moments and it tests what you've learned while moving the narrative forward.

great presentation. art, story, sound all that. really cool concepts and world, but movement and platforming did not feel very good to play. puzzles and hidden stuff was cool and all, but did not feel rewarding enough with the quirks of the movement.

side scrolling sections were kind of lame because they threw in a lot of "gotcha" mechanics out of nowhere. example: rocks suddenly being able to drop when that hasn't been introduced at all. getting through those sections were fine but it came with a lot of unnecessary deaths.

glad i experienced it before will of the wisps, recommended to only focus on the main story rather than the extra stuff included.

the second game on the other hand...
