LUNA-TERRA RUN

i dunno maybe it's taken me over a month to write about this because i'm fucking insane about LT. did the CM ending, since i did the MF ending for saturn. really glad i watched a bunch of gundam before this one, LT isn't char but playing from her perspective is definitely more fun when you've seen the char aznable burger commercial. i think the first time around, i did not appreciate pluto as a character nearly enough. and i didn't even know who europa was....... imagine going your whole life and never seeing her......... what a horrible way to live

SATURN RUN

i have absolutely nothing intelligent to say about this game. that's not a mark against it, that just means i have gone so insane about the characters that i already changed my discord profile pic to luna-terra. it's got mechs and lesbians and GRAVITY and politics and a whole lot of very abstract flavor text that took some getting used to. but once you're vibing with it, it captures your soul in the tidal forces and pulls you into a crushing embrace. cannot recommend enough.

awful performance, wait for the patches before you buy

how is it possible to be worse at this than cyberpunk 2077

deep rock has seriously invested in some better equipment

YOU. SOLITARY. NOW.

i'm probably never going to stop jamming to the music in this game. the other stuff is fun too

i think i first beat this game on an ipod in high school chemistry class when i wasn't falling asleep. still rocks

i dunno. if you wanted a story as "good" (was the dialogue ever good???) as the first two games, this isn't gonna be it. if you're here for the guns and the gameplay, there's literally no reason to go back to borderlands 2. genuinely a ton of fun

it's good actually. devastating main story. side characters are better in this than a lot of movies and tv shows. there's some really good music. if you go into this thinking it's deus ex instead of skyrim, you'll have fun. i will probably never recover from this game

i am not exaggerating when i say this has the best story of any game i've ever played. no other game is this politically aware. no other game will make you this attached to random drunk people in the street. no other game could make me love a cop. and what do the writers get in return? they get forced out of the studio, so if you pay money, the main creative team gets nothing. fortunately, there are always other ways to play disco elysium, but for legal reasons you didn't hear that from me

dishonored has permanently broken the way i interact with the world, i think. i was already pretty parkour-brained but now every building is a dishonored level to me. kinda sucks that you have to be a monarchist, but at least you can be authentic to that political alignment by being a murderous buffoon

there is no reason for dishonored 2 to have a voice cast this stacked. rosario dawson? vincent d'onofrio?? ROBIN LORD TAYLOR??????? FUCKING PEDRO PASCAL????????????????????? WHY.

this game absolutely rocks. the main story isn't fantastic but literally everything else is better than dishonored 1. karnaca is gorgeous in a way dunwall could never be. it leans really hard into the steampunk nonsense. i went so insane playing this game that i save scummed my way into a full stealth/nonlethal run without checking to make sure i didn't get detected on the first level. i may be stupid but this game is not

billie lurk is my K from blade runner 2049. she's just like me fr

not as good as the knife of dunwall. the dogs are annoying and there's no billie. great villain tho, so it's worth playing

i think people have come around on this game. i'm here to tell you that it was always good. how do i measure this? the number of robin lord taylor voice lines is higher as a proportion of the dialogue than basically any other dishonored game. can't get enough of my favorite little gayboy

absolutely devastating. if you're trans (especially transfem) you owe it to yourself to play this game. for cis people out there, i can only say that it's a wonderful story with gorgeous art and music that's kept me listening even after i stopped playing. i don't think there's another game out there right now that represents the trans experience with such raw emotion, but i'm on a quest to find out
