one of the most unique RPG Maker games in that you would probably have not known that was the case, the game is fairly short but it works in its favor as it also has the only case of 4th wall breaking i don't find cheesy where it makes your whole computer the solution to some puzzles, the switch version has to work around that fact however so if you are uneasy about the game doing things to your computer i'd try that out.
2017
only metroidvania i've played so far but it's a really solid game, its slow at first but when you start to unlock more of your moveset it's a real blast, i think theres a few things im picky about which is how i'll probably never be able to fully 1000% it because of how difficult godhome is and the fact that the compass is a charm and not an upgrade despite how little sense that makes, play it if you've got patience cause its a real patience tester, but a really great one

(written at the time of only chapter 1 and 2 being out) i NEED the full game so much, this is what undertale wish it could be and improves upon it in so many ways from the combat to the music and from what looks to be promising, the story

probably my favorite singleplayer valve game and the only flaw out there is that i wish i could play the game fresh so it took longer to replay each time i replay it, a part of my brain feels like it's dedicated to remembering the portal 2 puzzles and i don't know how messed up that is

probably has the best hero mode out of all the splatoons but thats because it takes inspiration from the octo expansion dlc, also salmon run is highly addicting despite the amount of people who just do not cooperate with their team please cooperate with your team more often if you play salmon run
why is this highly addictive i am one of the only people i can think of who still plays this game often and talks about it, this game is supposed to be designed poorly on purpose but most of the time the rng is in my favor to make me keep playing what is going on

this game is always a solid replay choice when i'm in an autumn mood, exploration though can get a bit slow and aside from that i think what happens in the story at the near-end/end is incredibly out of place in a way that made me feel like they just didn't know how to end this game and threw in whatever they thought of in and that kind of takes a few points away, everything else is pretty great like the music and i like the artstyle a lot for some reason, be gay do crimes

1. shovel of hope
2. plague of shadows
3. specter of torments
4. king of cards
shovel of hope just feels really clunky to me in a way i can't describe, combat in shovel of hope also boils down to just spamming your down attack until the boss dies or you respawn to do it again,
the rest though i have no issues with. plague knight is my favorite knight even if the other campaigns are really fun i like building different bombs and obliterating bosses with the bombs i've made, specter knight focuses solely on making the platforming and combat more fun and succeeds and king of cards is a wario landesque campaign that comes with a card game that kicks ass, get it if you want but you may not want to start with shovel of hope

throw a COIN watch it fly shoot the COIN coin KILLS you are the ULRAKILLER the difficulty curves a bit insane though but not hard to overcome
i probably only like this game out of some weird stockholm syndrome but it's not even that difficult like the youtubers in 2014 make it out to be its kind of just a fun physics simulator where you have to be a good father, i've replayed this too many times

i'm someone who "ironically" played roblox obbies back in the day and this game fuels my addiction to complete simple obstacle courses faster than other people, people hate it solely because of microtransactions but who cares the cosmetics don't effect gameplay at all
any future game that releases could possibly never have as much care poured into it as cuphead does, it took ages for cuphead to come out but thats because they made sure this was not a rushed product and it really isn't, game of the ever
