Pretty damn good. I felt that the last hour wrapped the story up too quickly, and the main character wasn't fleshed out enough. But I had a good time.

The surprise drop made it so sensational on release. In retrospect, it's good, but the story isn't that captivating. It's playable enough to get you to Chapter 2, which is a much stronger title.

Deltarune comes into its own here. It's much stronger aesthetically, narratively, and mechanically than Chapter 1. The inclusion of Spamton and the Weird Route adds much-needed depth to the story. So much theory fodder!

A very solid line-up. I come back to most of these quite regularly with my friends. Blather Round and Champ'd Up are particularly good. The Devils and the Details is the weakest in the pack, but after returning to it recently I found it to be much more engaging than I initially thought.

Short and sweet. The writing is fantastic. The gameplay is serviceable, but could use more energy to mirror the writing. The raccoon is such a shitheel, I love him.

Pretty fun and unique. The presentation's a bit bland.

When I play Garry's Mod, I'm usually playing the mods made inside Garry's Mod, which are all iconic, flawed, and great. As a platform that facilitates these mods, Garry's Mod is excellent.

Very fun stuff. The presentation gets out of the way, and you're left with smooth and responsive rhythm action. I got all of my fun out of mods. The OST provided by the game isn't to my taste.

2020

The last 5 or so hours is mysterious, tear-jerking, can't look away kind of stuff. The first 15 hours is delightfully-presented but largely thin. The battle system is fun but quickly stopped stretching me. There's very little narrative weight to the vast majority of the story -- occasionally you get blips of pathos and intrigue, but they're immediately washed away by a sea of pastels and fluff. On one hand this makes perfect sense for the story, but on the other I was falling asleep. I think there could have been a better balance, especially in the prologue.

But if you liked Undertale, LISA, OFF, MOTHER, you'll deeply resonate with parts of this game. It's very "No crying until the end".

Haven't actually played the Definitive Edition yet, but I've played the original.

LISA is beautiful, heartrending, and very very painful. The game is hard to get through. It's a bully. But it knows exactly what it's doing and it has insightful things to say.

A bit thin, not too scary, but there's enough there that it's worth the short play.

Frantic, hilarious, very addicting.

It's alright. The writing is very fun, but rarely laugh-out-loud funny. The gameplay is alright but wears thin. It's a bit too slow to work well as a multiplayer game.

Very smart and entertaining, but the humour is so dry that it wears me out. It's very worth playing though. The ending is excellent and reminds me of The Beginner's Guide.
