Oh. That's crack. That's cocaine crack drugs on the Steam top sellers list.

I love DnD but don't have the patience to actually sit still for long periods since theres not enough happening for my little brain, but this game is exactly what I needed.

I just wish Halsin wasn't broken all the time.

In the long time I’ve spent running this account, I’ve grown both as a reviewer and as a person. And it’s become increasingly apparent that I need to apologize for a long streak of immature behavior regarding this particular series.

I’m sorry for giving Megaman games half star ratings over something as petty as not including Dr. Light x Dr. Wily yaoi.

It’s childish, it’s messing with the average review score, and above all else, it’s a really superficial way to look at art. I still do not like most of the games in this series but I promise to offer more substantial critique in the future. As a show of good faith, below is my honest review of Megaman 11:

This game fucking sucks because it doesn’t have Dr. Light x Dr. Wily yuri. Keiji Inafune should take his stupid fucking NFTs and shove them up his ass.

makes me feel like an ai artist with all the fucked up hands i'm making

Let me preface by saying THIS GAME IS ASS.

Every time I boot it up I immediately get sucked in.
The story is easily forgotten as it is mentioned very little, and 90% of the game is filling out a map just to see a vague location of the staff, but it still somehow manages to sink its claws into your flesh and doesn't let go until you defeat that jank ass dragon.
And when I say the story is forgotten, I mean that they never specify how or why the king was poisoned, and whatever the hell a dragon had to do with it.
They don't even tell what became of the king, like did he die or???
As much as I would like to blame it on nostalgia, I refuse to believe an ass game such as this can have this much of a grip on me with fond memories alone.
There must be a divine force at play.

That being said, this game is perfect to play while you're baked. <3

I have never played a Yakuza game in my life, however when I was in college, I would lay on my roommates couch and zone the fuck out while he played video games and this was one of the only ones that ever held my attention.
I was fully invested, not just just in the story, but in the quests and mini games as well.
I was even cheering for him to win certain prizes and I wasn't the one playing.
Even though we have known each other for a long time, this game ultimately brought my roommate and I closer together, so it makes me happy.

4.5 stars only because they gave my boy Majima the fuckass bowl cut.

This game is so silly, goofy even, but the amount of fear that i feel while playing this game is immeasurable.
The suspense kills me.
I have never played this game, imposter or otherwise, without feeling my soul leaving my body

This game is a massive mixed bag. On the one hand, it single-handedly popularised a hugely influential sub-genre of ARPGs; on the other hand, it fucking sucks.

Seriously, most of the hype for this game is unwarranted. I think that people like the 'idea' of Dark Souls more than they enjoy what the game really is. The notion of interconnected levels and choice with regards to game progression is cool, but in reality, backtracking all the way to Firelink Shrine from Demon Ruins is nothing more than a chore. There is nothing added to the game by forcing the player to walk from bonfire to bonfire.

But this hints at one of the major ailments that Fromsoft fanboys are afflicted by: an inability to see poor game design for what it is. This flaw has become increasingly evident as time has gone on; one only has to look at those who get genuine delight from the fact that Elden Ring has several poison swamp environments. It really does confuse me, because I would never fault someone for liking a bad game, but I cannot fathom the defensive ignorance employed in order to protect an okay game from valid criticism.

I must admit that I warmed up to the game. Despite having runbacks on par with DS2, some of the worst bosses in the series, clunky and outdated combat, bullshit enemy placement, and unfinished levels, there is a certain charm to Dark Souls: Remastered that has compelled me to continue on into NG+. I really do wish I could enjoy the game more though, and I might if the fanboys could stop telling me that I'm not enjoying it enough because I am demented in preferring Dark Souls 3 or whatever.

I really hope that someday someone makes a good Dark Souls game...
