This is much lower than the star rating would place it on this list. I do still enjoy the original Resident Evil, but I'm not delusional. Unlike RE2 to REMake 2, the remake of RE1 outright replaces this game 100% to me. The only thing the original games has going for it is to see the origins and the voice acting

Really good list, pretty similar to mine. I also have REmake at the top with RE4 second. I think the only big difference is Code Veronica. When I was younger it was one of my absolute favs and I haven't replayed it since. I've seen more people who dislike CV, so I'm a bit scared to go back to it, but I feel so nostalgic for it that I'll prob still love it. The scale, the ridiculously over the top but entertaining story and villains, prob my fav soundtrack in the series, interesting locations, the actual useful knife and the fact that it stars Claire were all reasons for me to love it

@ThomVD I respect it. I love me some Claire too but just generally I wasn't really enjoying it. I could probably put it above zero, only reason that one gets something from me is cuz it stars Rebecca
