I'll be completing this review when I complete the game. Trust me, it'll be a doozy.

An engaging little indie horror game, absolutely steeped in unsettling atmosphere. Though definitely not for the claustrophobic among us, Cave Crawler readily provides a fun, freaky romp with some very well-done scares.

A well-made, if relatively formulaic indie horror game. Despite a fairly linear experience- not to mention a painfully abrupt ending -my friends and I had a remarkably good time experiencing the eerie ambience.

Though the polish behind this studio is plain to see, this game falls into virtually every pothole it realistically could. From cheap jump-scares to poorly-executed mechanics, Sparky Marky 2 expands on the original in all the worst ways... and, unfortunately, fails to capture the eerie atmosphere that made me loosely enjoy chapter 1.

Uogh, this game.

It's a character-based MMO, with an interesting- if full of itself -sci-fi setting, and some truly fantastic music. That said, it's obtuse to the extreme, and fails to engage with a repetitive gameplay loop.

In no short order, this was the game that made me appreciate difficulty. With art that'll bring you to tears and a story that'll bring you to vaguely-defined confusion, I truly couldn't recommend it more.

I mean, there's nothing I can say about Breath of the Wild that hasn't already been said. For me, at least, this is the ideal crystallization of a franchise I love; what more could you really ask?

Addendum: NUH UH

A perfect study of atmosphere and tone, packaged like an otherwise unassuming deck-builder. But I've already said too much; if you're gonna play Inscryption, it's best to go in blind.

Remarkably, I don't love this game for it's engaging platforming, gorgeous pixel art, or even it's downright peppy soundtrack. No, story's the thing, at least for me: not one, but FOUR remarkably intense epics, spanning everything from courtly romance to noble self-sacrifice, all written with the utmost attention and care.

The pun frog certainly doesn't hurt, either.

Good lord, where to start with this game.

For a game where the average session lasts less than two hours, there is truly so much STUFF in Risk of Rain (2, that's important). If you want a reliably batshit experience, backed by one of the best video game soundtracks EVER, full stop, look no further.

You may like this game, as I do.
You may think the art is iconic, as I do.
You may consider the gameplay tough but fair, as I do.
All I can say for sure is that you will feel very, very bad about it.

This game has a very special place in my heart, though it isn't my favorite in the Pokemon franchise. It's a very solid middle-of-the-road for me, though I did play it some time after the release.

Look, I love the Pokemon franchise.

This game is bad.

SwSh crawled, wet and wriggling, so Scarlet and Violet could run.

Now, it's far from perfect (by any means), but it was a very pleasant surprise to play a good open-world Pokemon game. The roster's an all-time favorite, too.

I have some very fond memories of this game, and think it holds up quite well.
