seems cool i guess but i dont like clicking things

best one of these they ever made. one of those games which truly never ages; they just got it perfect.

hope you like pressing the A button literally one billion times just to make your slow idiot character move at a pace above a saunter. also its racist and badly written and boring.

just sort of perfect, you know? i remember playing it at trade events for years before it eventually came out and that gave it this real storied feel that i haven't had from a game in a while, that feeling of a friend you trust grabbing you and saying "yo you GOTTA play this". that's something you cant recapture really but it's very precious to me, and so, too, is this game.

real gamers scroll thru their indie games folder and find weird old test games and are like "yeah i'll log that, i remember that being cool." it was cool. if you dont fuck w prototypes then i dont fuck w you!

i played a bunch of this waiting for it to Click but it never really did with me, on account of im bad at platformers

i got a big soft spot for this game but it's undeniably sort of a mess. like so many games of its type, i wish i could revisit it but strip out all the gunplay. im just here for the goofy plot and fun meta bits.

now this is some real uncut Gaming "oh its broken" "there are bugs" shut da fuck up

really liked this one a lot, some really cool ideas and the type of messy execution which appeals to me in high-budget releases

this never got an official release but i adored it whenever i got a chance to play it at events. one of those games of pure oki which was part of the resurgence of offline multiplayer at the time; i'd love to see a full release one day.

another fun oki game that i played obsessively for a couple weeks until everyone else stopped playing it. very cool and well-designed imo.

the trouble is that hotline miami came out around the same time and i wanted to play FTL like hotline miami, but it's not that at all. another game falling victim to my aversion to clicking things that don't immediately vibrate or explode, alas.
