tears of the kingdom needed to be so many things for so many people, so it was impossible for it to live up to all the expectations... but you CAN shield surf on mine cart tracks like they're grind rails so i'd say it was pretty good

one of the best multiplayer games i've ever played. i miss it every day.

p ranked every level and lost an ounce of my sanity

the best part of the game is the ikaruga boss fight

Wii Sports Boxing Results Music for 10 Hours

in my childhood memory this game is 5 stars but when i play it it's 3 and a half at best. chao garden is still the GOAT though

it took me almost two years to finish ring fit, but it's the most proud i've ever felt about beating a video game. it's by no means perfect, but i love it when nintendo decides to do some weird shit and make an exercise game that's 100 times better than it has any right to be - a turn-based RPG where you team up with a talking ring to attack a big buff dragon with squats and arm presses.

this is one of those games that's so good, i get upset that it has less than a thousand reviews on steam

hypnospace outlaw is one of my all-time favorites, an insanely detailed world filled with some of the funniest writing and most endearing, human characters i have ever seen in a video game. it also has a song about microwaving ice cream.

i never played the original so i have no nostalgia bias, but this game rules. the atmosphere, the pacing, the combat, the funny one-liners... this is one of those "damn, video games are awesome" type games

nier replicant is one of my all-time favorite video game stories and soundtracks, but the combat is mediocre at best, you have to replay nearly identical sections of the game 4 times AND you spend half the game running back and forth since they thought it would be funny to mock the concept of fast travel

the level design in this game is fucked up. they shoulda never put that damn hedgehog in the third dimension
