Ragequit on World 3 Boss. There was much frustration during my time with the game and as a whole, it leaves a lot to be desired.

100% completed with all achievements. Very fun game. Great music, amazing level design, and fun missions. My favorite Sonic game to date.

Favorite game to date. Stellar gameplay, great story, and decent music.

Beat it in the Zero Collection on DS (via 3DS backwards compatibility). Started New Game Plus twice. A good start to the series. Good music, Great gameplay, amazing storyline. Might need a guide to get maximum enjoyment, as it can be very difficult.

Beat it in the Zero Collection on DS (via 3DS backwards compatibility). Didn't enjoy it as much as the first game. About the same, but the game is too hard in my opinion. It's still worth a play.

Beat it in the Zero Collection on DS (via 3DS backwards compatibility). Extremely good. Level design is even better than before, and the weapons are a joy. Bosses could be a bit harder but the game is still amazing.

Played it in the Zero Collection on DS (via 3DS backwards compatibility), stopped at the Castle stages. Unfortunately, really mediocre. Story is very good, but everything else left a lot to be desired. The gameplay was changed for the worse, the level design can be extremely frustrating, and the music is annoying. Really disappointed.

Currently playing on Windows PC. Game is very fun. Addicting gameplay, fun bosses, and great music. Would recommend.

Beat on a 3DS, got Super Sonic, PAIN AND SUFFERING

Beaten on a PC. Excellent little treat. The combat system is cool, the music is great, and the graphics are nicely detailed. There are some bumps, like not being able to chain cyclone into boost (WHY), but Freedom Planet is a fun time.

Beaten on a PC, and it was just atrocious; absolutely my least favorite game ever made. The combat really kills the game, it’s too slow in Lunatic, and too easy in Very Easy. The only part I kinda enjoyed was Papelne’s playthrough. Would absolutely not recommend.

Beat on a 3DS, replayed in an emulator on PC, might do 100% if I feel like it. Not really a fan of it, however, I acknowledge that this probably is a decent game for most. It changes up a bunch of the gameply of it's predecessors. This is generally for the worse, and it's not as fun as 1 or 2. I know everyone likes the level design in 3, but not me. I found the design to be pretty weak after the second half, and it ruined what would've been a pretty good game. The graphics are nice and the music is phenomenal, but there's only so many good things to say about it. A hasty recommendation from me.

100%ed on 3DS, then 100%ed again on PC. Just an amazing little platformer that deserves more recognition. The gameplay is satisfying and even better than the first games'. The music? Godlike. The story? Well done. The level design could be a bit better at points, but if you really dig deep into this game, you'll enjoy it. An easy recommendation from me.

Played on PC, considering getting it on Switch. Absolutely worth it in almost every way. There's so much new stuff keeping the game fresh. There's more items, more endings, more music, more everything, really. The only thing that I somewhat dislike about it is the item nerfs, but even then, Repentance is the perfect DLC for this game. Easy recommend.
