Oh, boy, oh boy.

Probably better than mario kart but something I'll probably never come back to

Danica Patrick and Wreck-It-Ralph are in the game KINO OH AND HEAVY

Aside from some character exclusions, pretty much a perfect sequel. Football MN4GR = Bonanza Bros >>>

ONE OF THE BEST KART GAMES EVER MADE, WHAT A JUMP IN QUALITY FROM THE ORIGINAL!

I will never stop being disappointed that one of the most promising kart racer series in recent memory was abandoned in favor of yet another Sega Arcade Racer. Not a bad game per se, but a lot of potential has been missed and a lot of charm is gone. Certain effects also received a baffling visual downgrade compared to the first game.

Honestly not that bad and its nice seeing all these series here. including Reck It Ralph?

Minus 1 star for the horrible water racing but overall is the perfect non mario kart kart racer!

Excelente juego de carreras, el mejor de los tres Sonic Racing!

It's a really good arcade racer!

It's a very forgiving racing game too. I've done a lot of split-screen gaming with someone who doesn't game or even use controllers very much, and compared to other kart games, it wasn't frustrating. Common problems with new players in arcade racers is that it's easy to spin out or take a corner and go the wrong way. There's a few things happening in here that prevent that, and some invisible wall guidance to push people back on track. There's also a very nice assistance for flying. There are a couple of choke points we've had with progression, like the "pursuit" challenges where you have to finish a lap in a certain time.

For someone who's played a lot of arcade racing games and is looking for a fun and challenging experience, this has it too. While the easiest mode is a breeze, the higher challenges improve the AI where they will actually use items properly, drift and use other mechanics to their advantage. It forces the player to learn maps and proper techniques with the cars. There are enough modes to keep the game entertaining and replayable, and it is really easy to invite friends in for local coop or remote play.

Aesthetically, it's a Sega/Sonic 3D game with lots of callbacks, bright colours, and pretty designs. Some sounds and voice lines can be silly, but at least the music has been done in a way where the loops don't feel too repetitive or annoying.

It's great! It's also pretty cheap! If you're looking for an arcade racer to get a few friends together for, this is probably it.

Improvement on the original all although the roster has gotten worse somehow. The gameplay style changes break up the monotony of racing with simplified drifting mechanics and boring items. The story mode is solid though and something that more kart racers need.

less personality than the first game but it has better mechanics and also heavy tf2

I may be slightly biased because I am a sega fan but this is my favorite kart racer of all time. Not even really for the sega fanservice, either. The character picks are solid and the courses aesthetically look okay but not the greatest. The soundtrack slaps though. This game is so incredible because of the mechanics and game balance. Boosting feels fun with up to 5(?) levels of boost, and chaining from drifts to boost panels to trick boosts, transform boosts, risk boosts, there are so many ways to go fast in this game and it makes it incredibly in depth. The items also don't make races entirely skill-dependant yet also don't make games absolutely chaotic either. The car, boat, and plane forms of each car aren't cosmetic either and entirely changes how you control and play the game. Each port of this game is also pretty unique and cool. The PC port has a ton of extra characters that none of the other ports have, which makes it my personal rec. The Xbox 360 version has a framerate boost on modern xboxs, and the wii U version has its own exclusive gamepad-utilizing gamemodes as well as 5-person multiplayer (at the cost of the wii U version looking and running like trash). Even the 3DS and vita ports are solid ways to play. This game is a turbo banger and absolutely something you should play even if you don't like sonic or sega

I was a DOG with BD Joe in this

Por mais que eu seja longe de ser bom, é uma ótima opção de multiplayer online barato e divertido no PC.

8/10 - ❤️❤️❤️🖤

My first Sonic game and one of the best kart racers

One of the best kart racers I've ever played. Great single player challenges, courses based on Sega's history, and much more. Some of the third party characters inclusion is admittedly very weird, but I find it goofy more than grating.

easily one of the best character kart racer games

come get smoked by my ryo hazuki

Why I haven’t logged this game yet, when I had so much weirdly good fun with it?

La mayoría de carreras crono son el equivalente del CBT en juegos de carreras

carro barco avião transformer

After the first Sonic & Sega Racing game pulled off feeling almost identical to Mario Kart, for some reason this sequel decided to loosen up the controls and make it feel a little more floaty. I was super excited for this because I love the first game, but they made this one feel worse for some reason. Still lots of fun, but it's a step down in that regard (which is the most important aspect).
