Full disclosure, I am absolutely terrible at this game. But it's such a fun time waster.

I honestly picked this up on the strength of Koei's previous release Mark of the Ninja and while base building, resources gathering games aren't really my vibe I'm glad they found a big audience with this one. I had a pretty good time with it myself.

frustrating and addictive although i probably wont pick it up again.

very well designed fun game I just wish I was better at it

I have played very little of this but what I played was ok. Not in to survival games much anymore though.

More like Don't play this game when it gets to winter.

I think I like the idea of playing this game more than I like actually having it in my hands.

Haven't played it much, but for sure a fun experience if you're a fan of this dark artstyle.

I should give it try again one day, but I'm not sure if this will ever happen because for some reason I just can't sink in into the world of Don't Starve.

pretty good, kind of a pain to play. love the visual and sound design. lot to see and do but kind of a slog to actually do it.

Credit where it's due, I don't usually play a survival game more than once. I really dislike the genre. I did play this a few times though, for a handful of hours. I kept discovering weird things that had what I think are story implications, and that really kept me going. I started teleporting? I feel like I found a weird note? It's hard for me to remember, but I think I get why people got super into this one. I'd love to give it another try. The aesthetic is a little too Tim Burton for me, but I think it does a good job of being its own thing.

obviously a very unique and cool artstyle. love all the different characters to play. particularly a big fan of adventure mode. like the sanity meter. wish there was a more appealing endgame though. generally not a fan of too much difficulty. still like it

I wanted to like this game but man was it tiresome to start all the way over from the beginning every time you died, which was often.

Don't Starve is unfortunately more cool than it is fun.

Every death in Don't Starve is another lesson to be learned. This makes mastering the game a brutal endeavor of trial and error, and with so much content, there's much to learn.

One of the better survival sandbox games with an incredibly unique yet charming presentation, overwhelming atmosphere that helps the player get immersed and lots diverse mechanics.

Honestly this series isn't really memorable for me? Still, a cool artstyle and mechanics system.

six years later and i still suck at it... the game is really fun though once you get at least one dlc coming back to the base game is impossible. i come back to it every now and then to get my ass kicked and it owns.

Fun game! Unfortunately, I have anxiety and am bad at it.

me 2 minutes into don't starve: yooo this is cool as fuck
me an hour later: aight i'm done here

I fell in love with this game's aesthetics, haven't played enough though.

Good game! And really fun to watch. I like survival games

best survival game i played i think
