KOFXIII is a great fighting game, but I still maintain that anyone that says "more fighting games should have sprites as good as the ones in XIII" doesn't know what they're talking about. This shit nearly bankrupted SNK for like the third time. Are you sure that's what you want????

This is the second King of Fighters game I have ever played. The first KoF game I ever played being '98 Ultimate Match on the Playstation 2. The pace of this game is completely different from what I'm used to from playing with the change of MAX mode and a lot more moves being more cancellable into and out of. Despite that, I really love how this game feels and play. Visuals and sprites are absolutely outstanding. The netcode for online could be better, but aside from that. It's a really good KoF game.

Saiki really took the brunt of the expensive spritework, he was made an ancestor of Ash so they could make him a head/pallete swap and then made his "naked boi" form super limited.
A third for the "arc finale bosses being underwhelming", but I'll blame the spritework for that because otherwise I do think the tar monster Shadow Dio design could've been good if it was more fleshed out.

KOF XIII é de longe o ápice de KOF, com um elenco de personagens rico e variado, gameplay externamente bom, com gráficos que não são incríveis mas são bons (com exceção de umas escolha de design questionáveis) muito conteúdo.
Esse jogo é de longe o melhor KOF já feito, e oq teve mais capricho na história da franquia. Se não fosse sua produção turbulenta (que gerou o PÉSSIMO KOF XII), e umas apelações que a CPU manda algumas vezes, esse jogo Beira a perfeição

gorgeous sprites, good music, athena has cute 80s hair, ralf and clark look like absolute units. gameplay is a tad too big brain for me
