thats a min to understand what ur doing and best comps and so on but thats yugioh in a nutshell

The music was gorgeous but what the hell even was this game. Like, YGO War of the Roses? WHY?

This is such a strange game and it. I mean really it could be the posterboy for licensed games in the 00s tbh. I was a bigger fan of Falsebound Kingdom but this had a solid soundtrack with songs that were way too short and it was probably a bit more "put together".

Even as a Yugioh fan, this is not a good game.

White Rose and Red Rose Campaign completed.

One of my first strategy games.

Loved the random mix of history and yu-gi-oh.

This format slaps, and I used to try to scrounge up some rules to make this playable with friends with the real card game. Shame it never got expanded on.

Getting into it can be pretty hard but super fun once you do it. With a good starter deck you don't even need to farm to beat it wich is a blessing in an old ygo game.

Trilha sonora foda mas extremamente difícil igual o "antecessor" e é basicamente isso que define o jogo, uma boa jogada da Konami de não ficar só no modo tradicional e ficar inventando coisas diferentes nos Yugioh dessa época

Definitely went through phases as a kid where I played this obsessively and had to get all my monsters to 9999 ATK/DEF points, for some reason. It can be kinda hard and it's also basically impossible to get every card in the game.

piece of shit henry "yugi" tudor is a real gaming scumbag I never should have sided with him and his wannabe kingly ass. my dude christian "seto kaiba" rosenkreuz of the white roses of york actually DELIVERED on the promise of sending me back to the future and didn't just FORGET about my existence the moment I finished winning the card game war for him and bagging all the special super roses goddamn. christ what an asshole.

just WHAT is the yugioh game trying to tell me???

ERMM yeah otherwise itsa surprisingly solid lil grid action strategy game experience. I wish the deck building turned out more interesting; as a loootta the lineup - no matter the archetype - is dominated by noneffect filler monsters and redundant 'negate attack' style traps or some impractical power-ups you don't wanna bother with. Kinda boring in that way but eh - dealing with those WEIRD rules involved with the movement and grid action side of things carries well enough~ so it's cool! we like our yugioh games where the rules are a bit fucked up like this :) play it with some mods to maybe spruce up that map design and the cards in your opponent's decks for added funsies tho.

"MAN IS BORN TO DIE", "A CARD! A CARD! MY KINGDOM FOR A CARD"... man wtf were they on making this shit. it's YUGIOH...... (kinda love it)

The Yugioh game where the characters are actually good. It should maybe be a small indictment that you feel like you gotta add mechanics to your card game but I actually appreciate the lateral experimentation.

I will return to this game to give my true thoughts on it.

I think I was just too young to understand the complex nature of this game. Something always drew me back to it all the time, even though I kept losing (guessing it's just because I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh! nerd)

Regardless, I love the story and presentation of this game. Truly good stuff. A unique atmosphere that really pulls you in.

os que jogaram esse podem tacar pau e tudo mais mas eu AMO esse jogo de coração, jogo até os dias de hoje, sei que parece patético mas eu queria que fizessem outro yugioh nesse mesmo estilo com novas cartas e novos personagens.

A fun little twist to the standard Yu-Gi-Oh! formula at the time. It takes some getting used to but it's a lot of fun once you do. I can't consider this game mastered because the only two cards I'm missing are only available through the Destiny Draw mechanic and I have too much pride to suck that much ass just to put them in my library.

melhor jogo de YGO até hoje

Pumpking? Busted.

Childhooooooood. First time playing any kind of "strategy" type of game as a kid. I didn't know why they didn't call Yugi by his name but I didn't care I had my cards and that's all that mattered to me. Returning to this game some odd 20 years later, I really appreciate what they went for with this. A super fun, creative, grid movement based strategy game while still being a Yu-Gi-Oh! card game with two sides to a story to explore.

My first Yugioh game and it's interesting to say the least. It's basically Yugioh but with historic elements and the card game here is built more like a chess match. It's not prefect and man are some of the duelists unfair as shit but I still have nostalgia for it and I enjoyed overall.

I'll live and die by this game. The music is SO good

I got this game twice for the cards inside. I was awful at it.

a game i really enjoyed as a kid, i still love it even now and it's easily my favourite way to play a yugioh game... wish they did more games in this style with the grid and movement

Beautiful soundtrack, cool cutscenes that show the Yugioh monsters fighting it out. Terrain types fleshed out the gameplay in a novel way. Major pain points include the story being a little weak, and the game aging like milk.

Interesting twist on a Yu-Gi-Oh! game and one of the best non traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! games.

It plays like a game of chess with the trading cards. Couple new rules with movement, leader abilities and win conditions.

It's a somewhat complicated game to get into (especially with the mostly bad starter decks) but once you do it's pretty fun.
