"Consequences of Boy Moms" -Isa

While not as mechanically rewarding as the first two, Heather is all the reward I need.

Great addition that rounds out the remake.

It almost feels cliche to say that Dragon Quest 1 and 2 are showing their age. I think I could get through even the worst of grind-y JRPGs with some gumption and a fast forward hotkey. This package is probably the best way to play these two games if you don't want to play the awkward looking mobile ports (which are the same as the versions on switch). DQ3 remake is coming soon-ish and I'm very glad I played these when I did. These still hold up because the foundation of JRPGs is built around these games. I need to play something with a little more quality of life features next, though. Or at least better menus.

The best 2D Mario game since Super World

The first Pikmin game I've ever completed. I've never played Pikmin 2, just most of the first one and the intro for 3, but it's obvious that this game is a love letter to the second game. I love the gameplay loop, the visuals, and the overall package. Great introduction.

This game is very very good but sadly I am not very good at it.

Still the greatest fucking game ever.

Knights of the Round and this game came out within a month of each other. Capcom really enjoyed that Lodoss War style high fantasy anime aesthetic, as we'd see them use later for the Dungeon and Dragons games.

It's a beautiful reconstruction of the original game. Both have their merits and both have their restrictions.

Interesting proto-brawler based on a manga based on a novel based on history. Based.

This game is a really fun return to the classic beat-em-up formula the Ninja Turtles are so well known for. The addition of Splinter and April is nice and the game is incredibly beautiful in its animation.

This is a really solid boomer shooter that takes a lot from Doom 2016 and that ilk of nu-shooters. Using the classic Doom method of rotating sprites instead of models is also a really interesting choice. The game's biggest strength is the level design, not falling for the trap of just locking you in a combat arena with a ton of enemies like a lot of other Doom 2016-likes have a tendency of doing. Highly recommend.
