2022 Plans/Goals

I did a pretty good amount of backlog-clearing in 2021 and I'd like to do even better about that in 2022. There's kind of a lot in my backlog but this a selection of some of the big ones that are at front-of-mind for me.

Most of the games on this list are just things I played a little bit of and never finished. Check back in in 12 months and see how I did.

There's also a handful of upcoming games that I'd like to play when they come out but they keep getting delayed so I'll hold off on adding those to this list for now. (but you can see them in my other list here: https://www.backloggd.com/u/AlexaLily/list/upcoming-games-that-i-am-vibrating-with-excitement-for/ )

I started playing this when the Final Cut came out, got far enough in to die like four times while trying to get the body down from the tree and decided to come back to it later and never did but apparently it's basically one of the best games ever made so I kinda gotta play it eventually
I got about halfway through and fell off because I realized the only bits I really cared about were Is0bel and Gobbet's stories but there was so much other stuff that my stupid completionist brain felt compelled to do even though I didn't care.
A Christmas gift from my girlfriend, I definitely am gonna play this soon.

I feel like I'm a bad trans for not having played any of npckc's games yet.
if i don't play this game soon then my gay card is gonna get revoked and i can't have that
Played the demo ages ago, picked it up on sale. Excited to play the full thing.
Backloggd has made me think this game is gonna be some kind of all-time banger and I have this terrible feeling that I'm not going to like it nearly as much as everyone else
In 2016 I got a PS4 and The Last Guardian. I played it for about 30 minutes and haven't touched it since. It's the last physical PS4 game I own that I haven't beaten. I need to do this eventually, maybe this'll finally be the year.
I enjoyed Kingmaker quite a bit (despite its many, numerous flaws) so I want to dig into this eventually but I'm waiting for all the DLC to be out so I can go into the complete experience because if this game is anywhere near as long as Kingmaker was, there's no way I'd do two playthroughs of it.
The fan translation is out January 7th and I am hoping and praying that they haven't drawn the attention of RGG/Sega lawyers and it'll actually get released. I am desperate for more Yakuza content
the real reason I hate buying $60 AAA games is actually because I feel way more guilty about not finishing them even though I was having kind of miserable time with the first 30 hours or so and it didn't seem like it'd get much better
I had problems with this game's egregious amounts of screenshake making me dizzy and while I don't think they changed it I still really want to go back because I am a picross addict.
