I really enjoyed Mafia 2, but my main issues were more so with the story kind of jumped all over the place and felt like a lot happened without actually happening. I still prefer Mafia or Mafia 2, but i still did enjoy this game. 7.75/10

First off I want to say this game is my first introduction to Dungeon Crawlers, so I didn't know what to expect from it besides the basics.
PS. This is pretty much a spoil free review I just touch upon the basics of the story that you learn in the first 10-15 minutes of the game and the mechanics.

Starting this off with the weakest link of the game would be the story with how basic it is. It starts you off after making your team in a test to wipe out ink fiends as conscripts for the Shogunate. After you pass your trial you go to Edo Castle which acts as your base and you have access to 4 things being Team list, Temple, Trading Post and the Labyrinth. You get a few tid bits of of story in the labyrinth and from the narrator basically after a dungeon clear. The amount of text i got for stroy equated to roughly one chapter of a book if that. So don't go in expecting a good story.

Onto the Art which was the reason I decided to pick this up for my switch and is probably the main reason other people want to pick this game up, besides looking for a new Dungeon Crawler. I personally love ink and watercolor and the art style feels like a mix of both and I will say they executed it well and it fits the theme of the game.

Definitely some gameplay of all time, but not in a good way or bad way. There are no tips to help you along the games so guides are helpful if you get stuck or lost. My main issue with the combat was how sporadic and easy your characters can die in one shot to non boss like enemies and until I learned the basics of the game it happened often. Even when it comes to bosses half are easy and the other make no sense on how they spring up in difficulty.

The first 3 labyrinths out of 5 are pretty easy although you can pass by some things if you don't know about what some spells do to make it easier to find hidden doors and whatnot. When you don't know what your looking for it requires a lot of backtracking I don't know how many times i trekked through each labyrinth until I figured out how to get to the next floor of it. So expect a lot of back and forth and dealing with enemies in the same spots you already cleared 10 times before hand.

Characters and how confusing they are if you don't know anything about RPGS or Dungeon Crawlers specifically. First off when you start the game you can use the premade characters which I don't suggest you do, since the issue with them is they have very low bonus points and if you make your own character you can reroll till you get 20+ pts to allocate instead of six or something. There are also different races like Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Oni, Neko (Cat people) and a monster race I forgot about. I suggest using Humans since they are a neutral race and are suited for either the front or back row ( 3 people in the front like warriors and samurai with Wizards and Clerics in the back). Once you make all 6 of your conscripts to your liking you start the tutorial.

Edo Castle was pretty cool at first with the 3 different things you can do there being Trading Post where you buy and sell items and can put stuff into storage and your storage being the most basic thing same with the store is pretty annoying. Can't organize either your inventory or storage besides the order you put them in. I would like for a revamp of them but i doubt it.

Oh boy, I can't forget about the Temple and how it rips you off with the prices for resurrection and Purification. So purifying a character removes ink that reduces your health with ink and some monsters are annoying with it. It costs 30 or 60 sen which is the currency in the game per hp point. Then reviving a character costs more the higher the level i think it's 600 per level since my lvl 20 at the time cost 11k give or take to revive. They need to reduce the prices for the earlier games since you gain currency at a snails pace and making a new character takes a long time since xp gain is very slow.

Finally my last topic of today will be the barracks where you can edit, make new characters, delete and change classes which is the most important aspect of this category. You will have no clue how classes coexist with each other unless you figure it out yourself, hoping you don't lose your other skills from your current class or know what classes work together without playing for a while.

All in all the game is ok would i recommend it at the $30 price tag then no, but I picked it up on sale for $17 and that is about the price i would give the game. I had a lot of gripes with the game and a mechanic that cause me to level 3 new characters in the last labyrinth which made me spend an extra 8 hrs farming xp. So with all my gripes and with the game i did enjoy playing it until the last 1/3 of the game where i had to look up a guide to figure out what I was doing wrong with my characters. If you go in with some knowledge on how the game works and it's mechanics or at least just the classes then you will have a good time.

Thank you if read this review with it being practice at writing my thoughts on things and I'm trying to get better at it along with my grammar lol. Rating 5.5/10

Was better then the Hidden Ones with the amount of stuff you can do in it.

It's an enjoyable experience going throughout the world

So i Kind of speed ran the game which was a mistake since i couldn't fully remember everything about the game or if i had actually finished the game before. I can now say for certain I did play through this game probably 10 years ago and am just now remembering that i did.

Onto the actual game itself it was great, but i didnt listen to that many of the Voxophones. The story is great with a lot of the twists and fever dream moments that have you questioning wtf is going on for a good portion of the game.

The Gameplay itself is great although I prefer the weapons from previous games, but the Vigors in this game which are the plasmids from the first two games are pretty fun to mess around with.

The setting of Columbia is prety cool in it's steampunk/colonial America vibe. Also the way to traverse the map on the skyrails is super fun and the things you can do with it although a tad bit limited is great either way.

All in all if you enjoyed the previous games or even if you like the idea of the floating steampunk type city and using cool ass powers i highly recommend the game. Now playing through all the Bioshock games with the thought of going back and getting 100% for each of them Infinite is tied with the 1st game while 2 is my favorite. 8.5/10

This review contains spoilers

First off I want to say that I am pretty biased towards anything that is set in Ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece since that is my favorite time period in history.
The gameplay itself is alright I mainly used the bow since some of the combat mechanics were pretty wonky on M&K at least it felt like that to me. The bows were really fun to use and although the animals and enemies you fight have the same type of hp pool its still fun to headshot a crocodile or an Egyptian Captain while controlling the predator arrow. 6/10

The music in the game is good and helps set the mood for the time period your in. 7/10

The story was good you start off the game Killing Rudjek the Heron on your hunt to find your Khemu your sons killer. You go on from there learning about the Orfder of the Ancients and if you have Played Odyssey is the cult members you kill pretty much. The Order is the cause for all the widespread chaos and ruin throughout Egypt and your main task is to kill your way through their chain of command to find your sons killer. Along the way you save and help the citizens of Egypt as one of the Last Medjay which are pretty much protectors of the Pharos. PRetty much rinse and repeat when it comes to the killing of the Ancients, but it was fun seeing the world of Ancient Egypt during the time of Cleopatra who for some reason has a very Distinct English Accent. I would give the overall story a 6 - 6.5/10

Setting is where this game shines for me I loved exploring Egypts wilderness, Pyramids and tombs all the way to the Roman City of
Cyrene and fighting in arenas and racing in the Hippodrome. 9/10

Finished the DLC's back in March and they were both pretty fun.

This was an overall solid game that doesnt drag itself out which feels good now a days. The comedy in the game is pretty good and the story is pretty much a fever dream idea, but the whole game feels like a fever dream. The weapon mechanics are my favorite part of the game and are fun to mess around with and the comedy is pretty good as well. If your looking for a shorter run and gun shooter with a funny story then play this game although the ending was pretty abrupt, but not surprising given how the game is. 6/10. (Edited This a month after playing through the game and my rating dropped from a 6.5 to a 5.5 the combat is pretty much the only fun thing in the game since the story is me)

This game was better then anything that i have seen movie wise from Marvel since Endgame which I thought was the worst Avengers movie. Everything from the story, soundtrack, Voice Acting and Gameplay is great. Some of my complaints with the game are with some voice lines are repeated a few times in combat, Character models in certain parts are a little buggy and the game is made for a controller at least that's what it felt like. Bedsides that i thought everything else was great and if you like Marvel or games with a great story, graphics and good gameplay check it out. I also plan on going back in year or so too 100% this game since it requires me to replay through it since i missed collectibles.

First off, let me say that Wasteland 3 is my first experience with the CRPG genre, but not with turn-based tactic games, so I understood how the gameplay worked. The story is set in post-apocalyptic Colorado, where your team of six Rangers is tasked with getting The Patriarch's three children back to him, and in return, you get aid for your people back in Arizona.

The story was pretty solid all around and made it harder to go along with certain decisions or be happy that I made the right one, or at least think I did. All the characters you meet along the way are pretty unique in their own way, which felt pretty refreshing, especially Ronald and Flab. When it comes to the soundtrack of the game, I was loving it every step of the way since the gospel/bluesy feel of the song matched the game theme perfectly (I now have a couple songs from it on my Spotify playlist). The world design looks like how you think it would, and people act like you think they would as well. How you explore Colorado is in the world map where you direct the Kodiak, a tank/truck hybrid that you can upgrade with new weapons', armor, and the Chasis that allows you to further explore the map and its radiation zones.

On the gameplay side of things, it was your average turn-based combat, and even with my limited experience, it seems the same in how it works but is fresh with the attributes, skills, and perks. Skills and perks are directly related since the higher the level of your skill that caps at 10, your perk tree for that skill allows for newer and better perks to be used for that character. Attributes, for the most part, are mainly focused on how they affect your character's abilities in combat. Awareness increases your likelihood of hitting your shots, while Charisma affects your leadship skill range and XP gain, and so on with the rest of the perks. That makes for a fun time figuring out a team comp that works for your style of gameplay.

Would I recommend this game? The answer is yes. For anyone who likes post-apocalyptic settings or CRPGS in general, this game probably has something you would enjoy, whether it's the funny moments or strenuous decisions you need to make that affect your people in Arizona, which is the Wasteland of Colorado. 8.5/10

The game that Gollum wishes it could be. Styx: Master of Shadows was better than expected, since I have never heard anyone talk about the game, let alone mention it. Stealth is the main focus of this game, and it was done really well with the skill trees you learn by unlocking them with skill points that are determined based on how you finish the mission. Story-wise, it's actually pretty good and has twists that keep it interesting. If you like goblins, were disappointed in Gollum, or want something to replace it, I recommend this game.

Story is pretty meh, the graphics are great for an older game and the controls were pretty bad. I did not enjoy this game whatsoever, but it being pretty saved it from a 2 rating. 3/10

Main reason I decided to start on my adventures along with Tommy and the boys was because i have been watching The Sopranos. The story was great overall just a few things in the game bothered me and it was all game mechanics like driving was a pain and the lighting in certain areas was pretty meh. Overall a solid 8/10 (Rounding to 4/5)

2020

I ended up getting all achievements in the game which is surprising since i have only done that with 3 other games.

Overall the story is good but some of the characters are obnoxious.

Really nice 2d anime themed platform shooter.
