Honestly, I don't find myself drawn to it, for long play sessions nor feel motivated to play it. Therefore, I won't be giving the game a rating since it is just not for me.

After shelving this games thinking it wasn't for me, I gave it another chance and loved it. This being said, it is not good enough for me to buy it again with bowsers fury on switch.

A new 2D Metroid on a modern platform. The only thing keeping this game from getting a 5/5 is wish we got to see more new abilities.

There are often times when I felt sonic would be too fast for certain areas with the boost, but way to slow with out it. That being said I enjoyed playing through this game and will 100% it soon. Oh also the mods for this game are amazing.
Just as good as a remember, the new controls make it even better. Granted the controls can be annoying at times, but I like how each fight plays out because of them.
Replaying on my PC, so far it is the best modern boost sonic game I have played.

I ended up playing this on dolphin and I think that is the definitive way to play this game. And yes I bought it. If you can, I say don't bother with ultimate.

There are some zones I despise and none of the bosses are good. But, I still found it enjoyable.
First 3d Kirby game and they knocked it out of the park.
These games are so much, I can't wait for 3. I went back and 100% this game.
