I have never seen something like this story before, anywhere
One of the first things that dragged my attention was that feeling that "Unpacking" gave me. Discovering stuff about someone's past by their objects is amazing. Also, It's strange how the Finch's house itself looks so alive and so dead at the same time.
It starts in a fun way with molly, but suddenly you're involved and didn't see 2 hours passing away. Even the credits are well thought, going from upstairs to downstairs rooms.
Damn, Annapurna!

This is a masterpiece. I have so much stuff to say, I don't know if I can organize it in a review, but I'll try
It was CLEARLY made with love. Best soundtrack ever, AMAZING boss fights (grimm is the best, I felt like I was dancing); a lore that you need to watch a video 1 hour long to understand. Did you beat it? Great, cause there's new stuff to do, new challenges, 112%, etc. Nothing in this game is forgettable
"oh, but I like linear games"
Hey, me too, but this is a great exception... The only thing that "frustrated" me was: sometimes I got stuck on a boss, but the next day I'd try again and most of the times I passed, so It's not an unfair game, It's just skill issue.
All that for an excellent price, SO BUY IT, NOW

I cried.
A few years ago, I was a child that could play it by pirating it, but today I made sure I payed for it, cause Freebird Games deserves it. Well, now that I'm older and I understand a little bit more about the world, this game have much more impact.
This OST is one of the best in all videogames history, I'm not kidding. The storytelling is flawless just as the sound design, and that's why most of the people cry with the "final scene".
This is cinema, I'd give all my money to someone make a movie out of this.
"They shine their lights at the other lighthouses, and at me."

I just rate it as a 7 due to the story, cause the gameplay sucks.
The ambience for a 2007 game is fantastic, the songs are ok and the story cativated me the most, BUT
It's ubisoft. They have the money, they have qualified people, but they always make a mediocre gameplay. First game of the saga is basically: go there and "investigate" (what it means you have to do the same missions 9 times to discover where your targets are).
I don't remember much stuff about the other ones, but in AC1 the guards literally wanna kill me for any reason. "Oh, you gave me a little bump while you were walking, I'm gonna call 15 guards to gang bang you." The combat is pretty much the same and kinda boring. If you wanna run away, good luck trying. If you're doing parkour, they'll throw ROCKS at you and you'll fall. When you're almost in the hiding spot, they'll find you <3
All I said + tons of bugs and freezings from a 2007 GAME IN A PC THAT RUNS GTA V
Just buy it if you wanna play all of them

Awfully boring, Horrendous, hurtful. 9 hours of this crap. Honestly, I just didn't drop so I could talk with a high level of certainty.
Gameplay? Reading a bunch of texts with small talks and holding your analog to the left. This should've been a visual novel, I swear. It's a goddamn walking simulator
Story? Dude, a cat with 20y that dropped college and represents depression and anxiety in a dumb way It's not a great plot. "oh there is a cult", OMG, BEST STORY EVER.
Characters? Mae? annoying, dumb, stupid. Bea, the most reasonable one, the one I don't feel like dying when reading the dialogs. The rest? meh
If you're one of the people who write "oh, this cat is literally me"... Man, Your life is sad and nobody likes you. Life is not this game, you won't have friends who will save you from a cult acting like this. STFU and go do something meaninful with your life
I'm sorry, I don't usually trash talk games THAT much, but this one...

I'm speechless...
The atmosphere of this game is amazing, just like the story... There are these bottles lost in the ocean with papers in it, I read it all the 10 and I was like "cool, a 'secondary story' written in the game, I like it'' BUT THEN I REALIZED, IT WAS NOT ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE and man... Also, I got the good ending, cause I EXPLORED THE FUCKING MAP, do it if you're gonna play it
About the gameplay, don't expect something completely new and wow, but It's cool and relaxing

First wolfenstein game and damn, it's good
The negative points I read on steam, most of them talk about the port to pc, that crashes a lot, it won't work on AMD stuff, but I didn't have any issues with performance. The only thing I'd say I don't like about this game is looting. I think it would be more immersive if I didn't have to run around looking to the ground looking for some 20+ medkit.
To me, this game has a bunch of positive stuff. Shooting is great, I'm in love with its story, MAX HASS, the stupid humor even to log out of the game, the replayability because of 2 timelines, and the collectibles...
I'm not much of a 100% guy, cause in some games, I feel like It's more of a "it was made to be hard and time spender" than a "it was made to be challenging and fun". But, in wolfenstein, I felt pleasure collecting stuff.
I felt rewarded with the records, gold things, enigma codes, letters, etc. The records had stories about the past of the game or songs. The gold things had nazi references in it. Enigma codes, when you get all of them, you unlock new stuff. Also, some of it, make you explore parts of the map you would never get to know if you weren't searching for it. In short: not a far cry.
I can see why some people think It's more of the same, a generic shooter, but I liked this one so much, It's pretty good.

I'll start with the bad things, I guess:
- weird mechanics, cause I'm obviously used to GTA V and San Andreas
Escaping police, fighting, you don't recover life at all if you don't find a restaurant and eat, TOLL and making a character IMMORTAL just so rockstar's story would make more sense making you get to the right part of town to watch a cutscene
- Bad performance
This on pc is UNPLAYABLE without patches and mods you find on internet
- Too much tutorial
Everything has a goddamn notification "press this, do this"
About the good parts:
+ The radio...
Rockstar never gets it wrong! Jazz, rock, calle 13, Elvis Crespo, some russian raps/hip hop and, of course, the messed up chit chat in it.
+ They payed attention on every detail on this GTA
When you get near a running car, you can listen to the muffled radio, when someone tries to enter the car and you start driving, they are dragged with it, the moves your character does, you can feel they tried to do it as real as possible for a 2008 game and you can hear people in radio talking about a mission you just did
+ The story
It's much more deep than GTA V, for example, emotional charge, etc. Unfortunately, I felt it just got like this towards the end, cause most of the game is the GTA recipe: go there, kill this man, come back, etc. But It's a goddamn fine story
My verdict? Give it a try. I'd say It's the third best GTA, behind San Andreas and V, clearly.
