Just to let you know, the Castlevania games that have a linear progression are called Classicvanias. They're separate from the Metroidvanias you've listed

@DayChan, the ones that let you explore the castle or any type of place rather than straightforward progression. Examples include Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Order of Ecclesia, etc
@DayChan, I should probably give you a little more information. There is a term named Igavania, named after the SOTN assistant director, Koji Igarashi. You already know what Metroidvania means, so I don't think I need to define it for you. It's a plural between two game series, Metroid and Castlevania (post-SOTN) since they're similar in design
So anything Symphony of the Night and later on that has a similar structure counts as a Metroidvania. Sorry if this was too much
