The boss fights were just too hard, and there wasn't really any narrative stuff to keep it engaging.

Very cute. But every town looks the same, every battle plays out the same, and figuring out what to do next is pretty difficult. We played for almost 2 hours and barely made any progress

Finishing a story mission does not give you enough credits to buy the next one.

We don't understand how to play. And though it has a very nice presentation, the extent of the story seems to just be a little incidental line before each match.
