Controls and movement very clunky but not too bad. Is a very short game so it's okay.

I applaud the proper usage of the source material, the design and animations of the characters and their mannerisms are pulled straight out of the movie, visually impressive as well, and I love how you unlock bonus material from behind the scenes of the movie.

My main issue with this type of games, Dead By Daylight clones, is that you if you play one of them, you practically played them all. Apparently the classic slasher movies are all meeting the same fate of being turned into DbD clones, it happened to Friday the 13th a while back and every horror character without a standalone game is just dumped into DbD as a DLC, such a shame, as I think these characters and stories have so much more potential to be exploited in a different type of game, like Alien Isolation.

I guess it is one of those games that you may be able to enjoy more by playing with friends, but the problem is not getting friends, the problem is arranging the play sessions with friends. You may have fun playing solo with randoms online for about to matches and then it gest boring, one map, very repetitive, all the same.

By the way, from about 10 matches total that I played, I never got to pick Leatherface because someone always beat me to it, that system is bad! I don't agree with it.

Basically like Tony Hawk Pro Skater with guns. Engaging and satisfying gameplay loop that gets your dopamine rushing as you maintain the flow of combat. Skill and dexterity are key, and is very rewarding the better you get at it.

I usually avoid Dark Souls clones due to some mediocre and boring experiences in the past, I'm more inclined to think they will be bad because they're simply not the same as the originals and barely anyone else can replicate them. This game was not the case.

From the few soulslike games I played outside those made by FromSoft, Lies of P is the best one by far. This one specifically is more like Bloodborne, so being a lifetime Xbox user, this was the Bloodborne I never got to play.

A challenging experience for veterans of the genre but still including vast accessibility features so it can be enjoyed by newcomers as well. Very engaging gameplay that encourages offensive strats over defensive strats, because agility makes things more fun.

The spin on the Pinocchio tale was very creative and its steampunk artstyle the more fitting for the story. The game looks beautiful and plays so smoothly, impressive for a studio with practically no previous history on the genre.

If you're a fan of the Souls games you definitely have to try this one, you'll love it.

Inconsequential little game but has its charm, something to do with the ugly 7-gen graphics and the bad voice acting which causes a lot of unintentional comedy. It's very short and linear so it doesn't feel like a burden, you can even finish it in one sitting like me.

omg Brady shut the fuck up!!!

It took Remedy 13 years to release a proper sequel but it was worth the wait.

Alan Wake II is one of the best narrative experiences I've had in both cinema and videogames. It's a psychological horror thriller gem, excels at crafting an unnervingly suffocating yet oddly soothing atmosphere, combining live action footage in-game seamlessly, which is now a staple in Remedy's game design, along with the certified banger of a soundtrack they composed for this game brought to you by Finland's favorite heavy metal band Poets of the Fall and others.

New added mechanics innovate in practically every aspect from the original game released 13 years ago, gameplay suffered a massive shift for the better, with a combat style straight out of the Resident Evil remakes that fits perfectly and feels revitalizing. It forces you to get smart about it and pick your battles wisely, as sometimes running away and avoiding combat is better in the long run for resource management purposes.

With two protagonists now, each one gets their own set of mechanics to drive the story forward; a detective with the ability of clairvoyance used to gather evidence to solve the mystery, and a writer with the ability to alter reality by editing the pages of his manuscript. Very creative ways to tell a story, also playing in the whole meta aspect of it all. What they did here is truly mind-blowing.

I firmly believe that in the future we will be talking about this game in the same way we now talk about Silent Hill 2, as a milestone and point of reference in the genre.

Unplayable garbage and downright ugly looking. Story-based always online games shouldn't even exist. Had to keep playing longer than I wanted because this games has achievements with uneven scores (17 gs) and refused to let it be the cause of my gamerscore looking ugly on Xbox Live.

I expected a lame Left 4 Dead clone like Back 4 Blood was but this turned out to be an even worse thing: a Borderlands clone.

Sooner or later I'd end up speaking about this game. I had a feeling of dread breathing down my neck because of the fact I hadn't. I stopped playing it near the ending of the main story because the truth is: the more I played it, the more I disliked it. But I have a very strong sense of finishing the things that I start, most of the time at least. I already spent some tens of hours into this game so I might as well conclude it. Yeah yeah, "sunk cost fallacy" or whatever.

There are very few positives I can gather from this game. Only one I can think of right now is the ship builder mechanic, it's very fun having the ability to customize your own ships, even within the limitations of the game, the variety is considerable. That's pretty much it as far as positives go.

Didn't get into the settlement/outpost building system, it was confusing and convoluted, and thanks to the horrible inventory management system it was even more complicated. The weight you can carry is very limited, borderline insulting, and the perks don't help much. Thanks to that you can't even carry all your resource on yourself nor on your ship, making the crafting and building processes annoying and inefficient. This is the worst inventory management system I've ever seen in a AAA game.

There is not a single interesting character whatsoever, everyone in the main story faction has to be morally good (boring) and have no discrepancies between them whatsoever adding to their already cardboard personality and expressions.

Exploring the galaxy is painful, tedious, and repetitive just as the quests are. They went for the quantity over quality route, throwing you thousands of planets and satellites to explore with no interesting content whatsoever in them.

For a game that boasts infinite possibilities with its exploration, there's little to no freedom in this. The number of unkillable NPCs is ridiculous, everything is streamlined for you to be a "good guy", because Bethesda wants you to play the game their own way. No fun allowed.

Are you subscribed to Game Pass and are playing this? I recommend you go play the Mass Effect trilogy instead. Now it is the best time to play one of the best sci-fi stories in all of fiction. As far as space adventures go, that is the best experience you're going to get, and it's a better use of your time.

Are you subscribed to Game Pass and you want a more FPS-RPG experience similar to this but with actual choices and better mechanics? Go play Fallout New Vegas instead. A game made by people who respect your time.

I decided I won't be applauding mediocrity anymore. The "it's a Bethesda game" doesn't cut it anymore. It's not the early 2010's anymore. It's the 2020's now and you spent like 15 years developing this game only to deliver a mediocre product and forgettable narrative. You are a subsidiary of the richest, most powerful tech company in the world, you got the resources, do better.

Outside their online Fallout 76 game, this is arguably the worst and most boring game Bethesda has developed and released.

Note: the special edition Xbox controller is really pretty, I'll give them that.

The premise for the story is creative but probably the most unlikely to happen in real life as well. As for the gameplay, generic FPS with lots of stiffness. Nothing remarkable about this one, gunplay is complete trash and it's more of a checklist like an Ubisoft game.

This looks like a 360 game (derogatory).

Very cheap and mediocre, repetitive and uninspired. Hard to think this belongs in the same canon as Vampire the Masquerade and the rest of World of Darkness, even hard to believe this launched in 2021 as a mid-budget videogame. The whole game feels like a tedious and repetitive shore and I can't think of any good aspects.

Very simple game. The fun lasts for about 20 minutes until it becomes hard and repetitive.

Great puzzle game, really has you doing some mental gymnastics. I'm proud to say I completed it without looking to a single guide. The co-op mode is really fun as well.

One of my favorite games ever. Just a marvel of storytelling, masterpiece of a psychological thriller and horror survival game, with heavy influences from Stephen King, Lovecraft, Twin Peaks, Twilight Zone and so on. Top tier atmosphere.

So much better playing co-op, solo it's downright unplayable. This version is better since every DLC is included.
