A decent enough plant-themed adventure game, part walking simulator, part escape room collection. The puzzles were all definitely on the easy side, and the clue management could've been handled better, but it was ultimately an alright way to spend an afternoon. Also, I liked the plant theme and you can sprint as much as you want.

Simply a perfect game as far as I'm concerned. Controls are tight, puzzles are interesting and diverse, you get a pretty round friend to solve them with, the story is charming, the visuals are a showcase for the console and the length is just right. Banger.

A walking sim-ass walking sim, mostly for the better. This takes the Gone Home formula and expands it in several ways, from multiple characters and some light branching dialogs to there being multiple areas to explore instead of just the one big house. I mostly liked it, though the walking speed was a bit too slow and I encountered some small movement bugs. The characters and narrative were fine and I enjoyed following them.

This feels like a missing link for my knowledge of Treasure'a development history. Surprisingly it mostly reminded me of McDonalds Treasure Land Adventure, with significantly ramped up difficulty (and I played the "easier" japanese version!)

Very charming game, it is exactly what you get out of mixing A Short Hike and some of the funnest BotW mechanics such as climbing every surface, gliding and shield-surfing. The story is nothing to write home about but is serviceable and cute. The whole thing would fall apart if they hadn't nailed the controls but they did. Nice breezy afternoon game.

A pretty solid action RPG, some frustrations aside (it really has no business having any platforming sections, considering how its movement feels more like a brawler than your typical top-down ARPG at times). Gorgeous visuals, but I thought the music was quite lacking.

For some reason this performed very badly on my Series S. Ah well. An interesting walking sim about loss and grief and escapism, it's written competently enough but ended up ultimatly feeling a tad shallow for me, both narratively and mechanically.

2023

Well this was a breezy, bittersweet and good looking and sounding as everyone made it seem.

Very chill, breezy game that walks a fine line between making the player think through locomotion through mechanical inputs without becoming a QWOP, which I was worried about starting out. Solid soundtrack.

Fun enough game, if a tad too long at times (some levels could really have used some cutting down). I like the concept but struggled a bit against hectic encounters that wouldn't let me focus on doing one thing per beat. It looks great.

Very cute! The puzzles are nothing to write home about but I kinda like it that there are enough mechanics to keep the game interesting and at the same time there isn't anything so hard that it made me look up the solution online, it just kept me decently engaged for like 5 hours and honestly, what more do you want. It is a very pretty game too.

This is a fun one! Maybe a tad too long but the story manages to remain engaging all throughout except for some pretty obvious filler/callback chapters and you do get to fight 2 tigers that one time.

I realized I'd already played this game like 5 hours in. It's a good one, though anecdotically maybe a bit forgettable in the end.

Ended up liking this way more than I anticipated, given how much it inherits from Seven. The battle system feels weighty and snappy and I love it everytime I'm on a dungeon but dread arriving at a new town to 30 mins+ of cutscenes and boring dialog.

A sequel that is better than the first game in every single way, and I really liked the first one! Very breezy too, clocking in at ~15 hours without rushing. Story is somewhat secondary but the characters' charm carry the game the whole way through.
