This game had such a good cast and character growth all across the board. The villain was very strong and Kiryu somehow became even more lovable (hopium-filled protagđź‘Ť). The gameplay almost sucked but the real worst part was getting lost in ryukyu

The quality of writing that I expected from 14, it had great characters and I was invested the entire time unlike ARR. Award winning story? I'm not sure, I am however, really looking forward to the future of the game from here.

plot is moving again, very solid story content and yeah, overall a pretty great patch

The perfect conclusion to Heavensward. Peak expansion, I cannot believe this was free.

its alright, wasnt insanely hooked on the Warriors of Darkness and the newly introduced concepts felt a little abrupt and not alluded to whatsoever but it's fine, just gotta play 1 more patch and an entire expansion (+ more patches) to find out more !!!!

this was very good, I incredible character building and the second ever goat certified lalafell. It didnt lead into Stormblood as good as ARR -> HW but i'm incredible satisfied.

Very fun game as a fan of Melody of Memories, just a straight step up in terms of gameplay. No real flaws with the game itself aside from the typical DLC track plague and maybe some missed opportunities with song choices but thats just how it is. It also feels like it doesnt run too great sometimes on switch but that could be on my end.

TLDR: Fun gameplay, good music đź‘Ť

most of the story spent being given exposition and some terrible difficulty spikes aside, the overarching story along with the last few chapters were just incredible.

Ichiban and the cast quickly became some of my favourites ever, some party members lacking a little chemistry during the main plot so i'm very glad about them returning in the sequel.

This game was a massive risk for the series to take and yet it was executed near perfectly as a 'reboot'.
