Being a bit short aside, this expansion simply adds MORE to ff16. not a single boss fight let down in spectacle and challenge, I had a great time and I hope we can get more of this world in the future (dlc or another game). Leviathan is the best eikon in terms of gameplay btw.

give it a few weeks, people are gonna HATE this one

It should've been longer but god this was immaculate. Soundtrack was perfect and so full of energy, new combat mechanics were FUN, Yuffie's character and the Wutai War plot got well needed depth too. and that ENDING...

metal gear solid x kingdom hearts x devil may cry

as a fan of those series, this game was awesome and I loved every moment. for people who just wanted more ff7, im so sorry.

i played like 20 minutes and enjoyed my time, the gameplay is really tight and has some cool mechanics. unfortunately there's gacha mechanics.

This game was addicting - standout characters throughout, really well written and fun side content along with a massive upgrade to the Y:LaD gameplay system. I wont speak any story spoilers but it was great although a little too similar to 7.

this is the would-be greatest final fantasy, I just really wish the presentation, story pacing and some of the characters were a little better/more developed + early on wasnt slightly aimless because that ending was one of the coolest things ive ever witnessed. everything else aside, this game was the greatest flex of the ps1 era, HOW did they do it

I NEED this game to get a remake

some of the coolest shit you’ve ever seen in your life gatekept by a very not-great first half

for what it adds to the game, absolutely not worth the money

2 hours of content with a couple challenging boss fights and 1 (very) cool one but theres no reason it couldn't've been a postgame quest to hype up a DLC with more substance. Really looking forward to the second one because I think it'll be doing just that but this one here is a robbery.

AT LEAST they couldve given more character moments for Jill and Joshua or even the main character himself except they treat it like a side-quest where they're just bystanders.

The reward for completing this is some stronger gear, not even a Fallen themed costume set like we got in that update a while back. Big letdown for the first of 2 DLCs we got hyped up for, could've been 2 really cool new stories except it's now gonna be just 1 (hopefully...)

they took everything that made the game good out the game for nostalgia sake, it got players back but a month was too long even for this

Really REALLY great story in this one, I wish we got more of it but what we got was one of the best in the series so its hard to complain

Thankfully, the length helps them manage the flow of side content - this being the first yakuza I've attempted all side content in. RGG perfected the formula in this one, I wasn't bored once: the callbacks were incredible, they gave songs good mapping in karaoke, pocket circuit was the most fun its beein in the series etc etc.

This is a perfect yakuza game right here in terms of execution, I just wish we got it sooner with one of my preferred plots and gameplay styles in the series instead.

didnt play

The spiderman 2018 and miles morales formula taken to the extreme, incredibly fun gameplay with its new traversal + combat tools and mechanics along with a really solid story to go with it.

Sadly I felt it didnt quite hit the emotional peaks of the first 2 games and it also felt a ton shorter. Overall, I heavilly enjoyed it, please change up the formula a little in the next game🙏

liked the music, new gameplay mechanics and areas

story (whole reason to play ff14) had me SNOOZING
