Almost perfect. Nearly every change was for the better. They finally fixed the x-ray hands bug. The only failing point is that the morph ball, your bullets, and your charge beam doesn't actually emit light anymore so you can get kind of lost in the dark.
Artistic direction minor qualms: they used the Trilogy rewrite of the script, the new echo effect in tunnels is maybe a bit too severe, the helmet was retconned to be an energy-projection-thing instead of a physically removable piece to cater to Other M I guess, takes longer to fire a charge shot because the beam-cannon is semi-auto now, and I wouldn't mind if they made each Chozo Ghost fight a one-off instead of a recurring thing, and it would be cool if grabbing an Artifact didn't lock you out of getting that Artifact's lore entry.
That's it, I'm entirely out of complaints. Great job, new Retro.

I don't know what I expected but wow
Listen to a girl talk about her day in Japanese and be ambiguously flirty with you
Answer a yes/no question
Get a photo of her in a sexy costume
I pity anyone who enjoys this uninronically

Really silly concept, tons of fun!
As I write this, the Switch port has some nasty loading times as you chose the map, thumbnail mode is almost totally impractical. Which sucks, cause the Switch would otherwise be the most practical for bringing to parties. Maybe the other ports are smoother?

I really wish the development team would focus on adding more toys instead of taking things away all the time. Almost all of the machines I built don't work anymore.

If you stir water too fast, it catches fire.

Did you notice that dogs have an "excited" idle animation for when you're standing close enough to hug them??

Very fun game but wow they really had no idea what they wanted to do with the story. Rescuing the kids totally peters out with no climax, regaining the girlfriend's memory happens so late into the story that you probably won't remember who she even is, only two NPCs in town ever comment on the nearby GIANT MAGICAL DIAMOND BLOCKING OFF THE NATION'S GOVERNMENT, for some reason Link's journey is kept totally secret so the band of heroes trying to help him come across as bumbling idiots who have no idea what they're doing as they storm the castle. Intro is painfully boring, first dungeon features the slowest vine climbing of all time, everything after that point is real neat.

This game would be a perfect 10 if it wasn't for Star Kingdom 3 and maybe Machine Kingdom 2.

What an amazingly simple concept, it's so pure all the way through.

The nameless characters from the GBC game mostly return and are just as charming. Also there is boss fights this time??

If one of the GBAs runs out of battery and dies then it kickes you to the title screen instead of just waiting for you to put in new batteries.
Not fucking cool.
The rest of it is pretty fucking cool though.

The shrinking gimmick constantly makes you rethink the environment and enough of the items are new to the series that you can't really foresee what elements are going to be puzzle related. That's exactly what I want from a Zelda game.

He just like me for real
Did you notice that there's some overlap between the noises he makes when he lands a hit and the noises he makes when he gets damaged?

Why are the special move inputs all so difficult?

1) Pick Sogetsu
2) Abunai Desuyo
3) Win
