Viewfinder fits into the same category as Superliminal and The Unfinished Swan.

Games that blow your mind in a gif but when I play them, I'm always left wanting more.

I'm pleased to say that Viewfinder is a lot better than the others!

The trick of placing a 2D photo in the world and then walking into it never stopped being trippy. I loved it!

The narration didn't do a lot for me i'm afraid.

Puzzle design wise, it remained interesting to the end.

Perhaps this is because I'm dyslexic but I find these 3D reasoning games pretty simple. Although some of the optional puzzles took a bit of thinking.

I finished all of them in a little over 4 hours.

I enjoyed the narration in games like The Beginners Guide but here it didn’t ever enrich the experience.
Although never annoying.

The devs try to leave the overarching narrative vague at the start, maybe to create mystery?

But it left me not caring about any of it.

Viewfinder is a good game!
Sad Owl Studios made an awesome thing.
So if you like the gifs, you'll like the game.

It’s a good game. Better than BOTW for sure.

I’m not sure if this is because of life circumstances but towards the end, I was just mainlining shrines on my hover bike.
Caves, stables, side quests? GTFO! I'm not interested anymore!

When I was first playing, I was touching every inch of the regions I was unlocking, avoiding the main quest.
So much so that I got the last sage first

So yea, I enjoyed it a lot.
But at some point I felt I was no longer progressing. So was just looking for the main line content.

It could learn from Elden Ring with how it manages openness while gating content.

We got this in cereal boxes in NZ and I must have played this for hours!
I think Westwood brought a lot of life to this game with the FMV and fantastic music.

I first discovered 0Space when it was a game on the Winnitron Network. Little did I know it would become one of my favorite multiplayer games!

0Space captures the feeling of playing Halo splitscreen for me.

In both games you are peaking at the other screen to gain awareness of where you is opponent is.
Both games test your skills with positioning, melee, firing your gun and throwing your grenades.
It's the amazing trinity of those last 3 means you leave every encounter feeling chuffed about your performance or knowing exactly what you did wrong.

And much like , Teknopant's later work on Samurai Gunn & Hyper Light Drifter, the game feel is top notch.

Rotation speed being influenced by how long you hold jump, the methodical cocking of your gun the character does and many other things makes this an amazing game to play.

This should be played at any local multiplayer event!

This game isn't good but boy do I feel nostalgic for it.

Played on a bad PC at the time and I was young.

Best played on the Winnitron =D

I heard a lot about this game at launch so played it for about 6 hours. Unfortunately, it really didn't click with me. Sorry Y'all.

The Switch launched with the game of the Generation.

Factorio taps into something dangerous & special.

With 377 hours logged on steam, this may be my most played game ever.

2010

Not sure I can rate LOVE as my Laptop couldn't play it well. But tiny community around LOVE was important to me for some time. Bunch of wankers now I bet ;)

Small living worlds where you build a base by teraforming the world. You can then interact with different NPC tribes.
