First mainline SMT I played, definitely a great point to begin because this game made me a lot more interested in playing the other games as well

I don't think this game was outstanding but for some reason I really vibed with it especially in the first two halves of the game, which kept me hooked on unraveling and experiencing the cool story and gave me fun gameplay that I could spend my time with for hours at times. The soundtracks and aesthetics of this game are some of the best in games and the cast is pretty cool, but could have been a bit more fleshed out. The neutral route is definitely the way to go imo but the other endings seem interesting as well. Besides my small issue with the cast, while I did like and love the design of the final two dungeons, they were kind of annoying to traverse and basically just required you to remember a bunch of doors/gateways instead of facing you with a real puzzle of some sort. Nonetheless I had a lot of fun in there and the ending of the neutral route certainly put a smile on my face.

Also, I love Nozomi and Isabeau, best girls.

my first entry into the smt games and genuinely one of the best and most fun games i've played, fun gameplay with especially the demon fusion system being really cool, awesome characters such as naoya, yuzu, atsuro, kaido and so on as well as the main character himself, who works really well as a self-insert, a not vast but fitting OST, which i never really got tired of AND an amazing story with 10(???) different routes, the king of bel one being the best one and the one i finished the game with.
