I have a lot to things to say about this one:

Every since its launch, I see people badtalking about Arkham Knight and now that I have finished the game, I mut admit that it surpassed my expectations. I didn't expect a game that good, It isn't perfect, but is a very solid game, ended the trilogy very well and it's not way worse than Arkham City by any means.

I enjoyed the story, the combat is the greatest in the franchise by far, the graphics and art direction are incredible even 8 years after it's launch. Scarecrow isn't a villian as good as Joker in Arkham City, but it served its purpose.

Now lets talk about the downsides. During my playthrough, I identified 2 major downsides and lets talk about them: The batmobile and the boss fights.

The batmobile is overused as fuck in this game and thats terrible. Even though the driving and combat are responsive and good, its so repetitive that at some point in the campaing, it really start to bother. I really liked the sections where you needed to use the batmobile to access some new area, break a wall, but the combat with it happens everytime and works the same way during the entire game.

Now about the main game boss fights: Man, they are really underwhelming. Arkham City and Asylum has memorable boss fights and Arkham Knight its the complete opposite. I JUST FINISHED THE GAME and I can't even remember the boss fights that I had during my 13h playthrough.

Besided all of that, I think this game is better than the Arkham Asylum and worst than Arkham City. It could be 5/5 if wasn't for the problems that I talked earlier.

I've never thought i would like this game as much as I did.

A truly masterpiece. 5/5

What a masterpiece

Easily one of the best horror games ever made. It can be better than DS1 in every single aspect (and DS1 was already an awesome game)

I played 2b's campaing in 2021 but I stopped playing right before it's end.

In 2023, I gave this game another chance and now I realize it was the right decision to be made.

Campaign A and C are so damn good. The story, narrative and characters are god tier and the OST is one of the best i've ever seen in a videogame. The combat is awesome and has a good variety of weapons which, for me, its very important for a game like that.

About things I desliked: The route B sucks. Despite its contribution to Route A events, they could have designed this campaign in a better way than replaying the same objectives and battles with 9S.
I do think the game has a low variety of enemies, unfortunately.

Yes, I think Bastion it's better than Hades and I'm tired of pretending it's not

13 years waiting for a sequel and we got one that lived up to the hype.

Alan Wake 2 is not only the best remedy game, but one of the best horror games ever made. If you love horror games, this is a mandatory one.

Thanks for this piece of art, Sam Lake. I hope you can do the same on Control 2

Same game 2

I like Spider man (2018) and Miles Morales standalone a lot, so I did have a great time with this one, but if you don't like its predecessors, don't buy it. I'm 100% sure you will not enjoy this one too.

The game is very good, but I didn't like the boss design tho.

90% of the bosses have huge delays on their attacks (Morgott's delays are fair compared to those) and they do some weird combos that instakill you in a blink of an eye. Poise in this game is inexistent. You can't interrupt any of the enemies attacks, but they interrupt your only by spitting on pinocchio's face. It's just bullshit.

That is what differs Souls-likes from the From Software games. From Software games, besides of Dark souls 2, are hard, but balanced 99% of the time. Other Souls-Likes never know how to make a hard game or a hard boss fight without making it frustrating or boring.

Besides all of that, I really liked this game. I think it's the best non-From Software Souls by far. I hope it gets a sequel or a DLC.

One of the best action games ever made.

Thank you From Software.
