I love the characters in this, but it's a shame the devs got sacked. Wish we got that storymode instead of another dlc fighter.
I had a lot of fun with it. The gamplay is pretty polished back when I played it.

A nice relaxing game.
I loved the twist at the end which didn't go the "tech is evil & corrupting our youth" route I was expecting, but it turns out the protagonist just wanted to check on her mom after her surgery. I also loved how it wasn't a very bombastic kind of twist for a change.

The controls feel like the character is covered in butter & the game is still in version 1.0 three years later.

So during one chapter of the game (chapter 7 I believe) you meet the main antagonists & battle the emperor of the country invading Galia, but then all of a sudden this broken af chick comes to back up the enemy.

This kinda broke the immersion for me as this chick has way more stamina than even the scouts, will kill your units in one hit & the game even tells you that you can't kill her.
I know Valkyria's artstyle looks anime, but I still was not prepared for Ultra Instinct Goku to just start soloing my team.

Would have probably felt better to play if the camera didn't suck ass. Gyro aiming didn't feel right outside that shooting range minigame.

The dungeons were fun, but the whole thing with the Temple of The Ocean King was annoying af.

You can tell Level 5 reused a lot of puzzles from Curious Village. It doesn't help that the big mystery twist felt like a cop out.

Had to retire it because the prince kept walking in circles even when I didn't touch my controller. I checked & I don't have joycon drift neither does this happen with any of my other games like Botw & Mario Odyssey.

Was good for what it was. The hats were the best🤠

The heart just moved waaaaaay too slow, so it felt tedious to play even tho I liked the characters.
