Seriously the most care-free, enjoyable experience I've maybe ever had with a game. So much love was poured into it that I don't care it took me less than 10 hours to 100% it.
The only thing holding this game back is the questionable decisions made to the combat. With tighter, more modern combat, this would arguably be the best in the series.
Outdated, run-of-the-mill third-person Xbox 360 gunplay combined with a harrowing story that leaves no stone unturned in the conquest to make you feel awful at every step, especially in it's latter half. Give it a try on that basis alone.
Incredibly atmospheric with an addictive challenge. Fantastic soundtrack and a lot of customization. Great time all things considered, with the occasional annoying dungeon or two.
The combat is pretty mindless, but still enjoyable. The story isn't earth-shattering, but it focuses on the right things and has some great moments. Overall, quite fun.
