The fact that Elden Ring learned a grand total of 0 lessons from this masterpiece of a game makes me so fucking mad it's SO good. This is what FromSoft's games are all about, man. Pure intensity, none of the random bullshit that's not even in the game. Wolf moves quickly, has unambiguous defensive options, and the bosses are built around it. VERY rarely will you find something that feels like it was genuinely impossible to dodge or close enough to it cough Elden Stars cough, the stealth and backstab features make combat satisfying viscerally, and most importantly, to beat Sekiro, you have to be good at Sekiro. There is no way around it. In Dark Souls and Elden Ring, if your gear is good enough, you can get through almost any boss mindlessly mashing, but you need to actually engage with the gameplay mechanics in Sekiro, which is what makes it so fun and satisfying.

This game is ugly as sin and super shortsighted. First of all, they took a 20 year old game, FE1, and decided "yeah let's make the units worse" like bro WHAT? The caps in FE1 are all 20 except for your HP not capping at 20, but that's not the case in Shadow Dragon, and on the higher difficulties, you'll see enemies with insane stats. BUT YOUR UNITS STILL SUCK DONKEY DICK?! This game has some sauce with the ballisticians, Wolf and Sedgar, and other misc goofy shit, but the game overall is just an insanely shortsighted product and if you want to play FE11, just play FE12 instead.

Kinda ass honestly. The gameplay is kinda fun until you get good enough at it to realize it actually sucks, the music is fun but really not inventive, and overall, it's just a really weak title.

MFs need to open their eyes and realize that the fates engine is good as fuck and any game that lets you actually take advantage of that engine goes crazy. Also this is the optimal challenge run game, you cannot do better than rev for challenge runs.

The plot is so good, but the gameplay is so mid. If you play this game once, you will LOVE it. If you play this game three times, you will hate your life. It's really an unfortunate victim of not having modern convenience like enemy phase skip, but the Tellius plot goes hard.

Very simple Fire Emblem game but it's a great starting point and it's got a fun OST, good visuals, a nice blend of mechanics and I'd say it's just a generally good starting point and fun game to go back to.

This game is the best video game ever made until you actually play the game.

Excellent starting point and charming but it's not really Fire Emblem at its best.

PEAK. GAMEPLAY. I don't know what else to say, the game is just fucking RAW. The start button is your best friend.

This game is just not Fates. It's just not. The meta is really bad, the gameplay isn't even that fun, it's just a total wash.

This game right here is exactly what it wants to be. Fun as hell. The first 10 chapters of Awakening are quite literally unmatched in the Fire Emblem series. Pure enjoyment out of this one, and the OST goes so hard it should be illegal. if you want to start off with Fire Emblem, this is a great place.

The metagame is ass at high level for REAL but it's stlil a good war drama SRPG and a decent starting point all things considered.
If you want to see the game at its best, play Blue Lions.
