Possible that my system orientation caused some audio skips in the cutscenes, but otherwise it worked swell and is still enjoyable.

Short romp. As my intro to the series all that time ago, I'm happy I had a look at it again.

Pretty as heck, super secrets and feeling awesome to play with its utilisation of the hardware.

Funky, kooky, lots of bits are fun to play.

This was way beyond what is normally expected for a free April Fools project, clearly it's made by people who show lots of passion for making something really fun.

A super fun take on generative music-based gaming that I didn't expect to be that engaging.

It took some sharp turns in twisting my expectations, that's for sure. Its overall story needs a lot of time to understand and I think it falters by becoming repetitive and somewhat roadblocky towards the ending, but I finally have this in my credits after wanting to play it through for so long. It was worthwhile.

Officially (not officially) Platinum Trophy earned.
This repeat run just gave me all the happy feelings. It's got amazing humour, levels are great to romp through... it's my darling favourite Lombax adventure for sure.

I finished off my little Future quadrology retrospective run by finally starting and finishing this. I expected a teeny bit more length to it but I was pleasantly entertained by it.

I get why it's a classic of the genre and I'm happy to have been allowed to use the fine tuning and ease of access offered by the remaster. I was able to brainpower through a lot of it, but couldn't avoid the odd roadblock due to the requirement of moon logic for some of the puzzle solutions - a product of the time I think. But it was good fun.

It can't match the classic titles for lovability, but it does lovingly reference its source materials with great writing and it actually has an exciting finish come the final episode.

2018

A lovingly crafted product. Gentle on the player with its lack of failure states, easy to complete and definitely worthwhile to get the platinum so you can feel the force of its complete story - it really caught me off guard as soon as I realised its themes and made me weep in a sudden bout of emotion. An outstanding short game.

A childhood timesink that I really enjoyed revisiting, every single good point and bad point included. And I can finally claim the Super Hard Mode clear which I decided to myself I would only do for that single time, because hoooo boy...

Very surprised to like this game as much as I did. Its souls-like elements are done in a manageable way, there are a few quite memorable moments & characters, and I think finishing it entirely is very doable.

It's a wonderful new way that the Game Freak people can put a Pokemon adventure together, though it feels like an unoptimised overall product and some quests definitely reach very grindy levels of tedium.
