They did again. Again they pick a formula from the past and bring to the future. It's like Chrono Trigger 1.5.
For me, CT is the best JRPG of all time and one of the best game ever made, and Sea of Stars match a lot things.
Gameplay - direct from CT but with a new mechanic. Give a lot of strategic to every battle. It's fun to play
No grind - In any point of the game you need to grind. Everything is done really well, give you enogh challenge without bullshit.
Sound - Again, great. There are some memorable ones.
Story - You dont know where is going, nice pace the all game. Satisfactory ending. Hope we can get a sequel.
If you thing about start this game, DO IT! You'll not regreat.

Very nice game. Could be better? Yes but I really liked.
The best part of the game is no doubt the side quests. If you go for the main quest only, you gonna be disappointed.
The new game plus is a very nice idea. It makes me want to beat the game just to see other ''endings''.
Im curious to see what they going to make for the DLCs.

You can make a short but meaningful game.
The game has some problems: the city is really small and could use a better villan. But still, not too much to complain here.

They nailed the shooting mechanic. It's remind me Soldier of fortune, too good take the head or other parts of the body with the gun.
Nice elements of RPG. Some funny and interesting choices.
I didn't engage to much in side activities, because the only real trouble I have with the game its the travessal is to slow (well, its robocop), and I cant use a car. But its a minor issue.
The game is very nice. Good and famil story.

Definitely a ''woke'' game. Trans, non binary, lesbian pronouns everything is here.
But well, in the end of the day is a fun little game. Have a good writing and some fun plots.
The game basically take place in two locations, but the fun thing is about how the battles are play. Some fun mecanics.

I had some bugs with the physics of the game, but nothing too bad.

In a year of a lot of possible gotys, Alan Wake rise above all.
The story is fucking fantastic, the gameplay is solid, the graphics are the best of the generation and the elements o survival horror are great.
Almost everything about this game is A+. Improves in everything from the first game.
Doesn't have the amount of enemies that the first game had. Its just enough enemies to scary you off.
The only critic that I have is about the ''cheap jump scare'' that the game have, especially with Saga. But is a minor issue.

Another solid game from Ryuu ga studios but this one shows the age.
The story is nice, as expected from the studio but the combat its not tha great as the other games.
The progression system is anoying too. The blacksmith its not nice and the fight styles are kind poitless. If you try to balance out you gonna have to grind a lot.

Amazing graphics, great soundtrack, just perfect gameplay. And what about level design?! Just the best I ever seen. You can make great games just with ideas from one level of the game.

What an amazing game. Great surprise. I have never heard of this dev until this game and its just a bangger.
Clealy take Max Payne as a inspiration. Good story told from a third person pespective and WHAT AN AMAZING soundtrack. I mean, what the fuck.
Nice collection of weapon too. The levels could use a little more work, to use the bullet time more, but its ok
