Really interesting game, I'm especially surprised at how deep the mechanics of the game went despite being on the PS1. It was quite hard the entire time but was mostly a fun challenge minus a few sections.
despite the unacceptable performance and visuals the core gameplay loop is super entertaining with a slightly above average story line for a pokemon game
unbelievable game for its time, only downsides are what feels like a high random encounter rate and getting lost can happen quite easily
