I played the crap out of the first 4 games in the series growing up and just replayed this again. This game is still great and one of the best action platformers out there.

This is the classic Mega Man format cranked up to 11. Who knew adding a dash and wall jump (among other additions) would take Mega Man (and platforming) to a whole new level.

The soundtrack in this game is amazing, all the bosses are challenging but fair and the pixel art is top notch.

There are plenty of hidden upgrades and multiple ways to approach getting them or beating the bosses. Also an interesting and cool addition is how some of the stages change after beating certain bosses.

If you had a Super Nintendo growing up or if you're looking to play a classic this was and still is a must play.

This is the start of greatness, the first half to the best Sonic game in the series.

It does everything 2 does but better while also looking better than ever. New ability (split second shield), new ability shields (fire, electric, and bubble), fantastic music, and level design. This is also the game where Knucles is introduced to the series.

Can't forget the Chaos Emerald bonus stages. This version is easily the best in the series with the perfect amount of challenge and fun. (Looking at you terrible Sonic 2 bonus stages)
Getting into them is also more convenient all you have to do is find the massive hidden ring (no 50 rings needed). Multiple of these are hidden in each stage. Now, if you have 50 rings and pass a checkpoint, you are treated with another bonus stage that allows you to earn rings, shields, and extra lives.

This game is a blast from start to finish. The only downside is the small number of stages (6 Zones), but don't forget this is technically half a game that gets expanded with the next release in the series.

A very charming puzzle platformer that hits you in the feels.
The dark atmosphere, music, and color palate but cute art style really work well together.
The puzzles are fun and unique with a decent amount of challenge later on.
I really enjoyed this game and.... no im not crying, there's just something in my eye.

I finally played this game. The only other one I've played is 1/2 Genie Hero.

It's probably the best-looking game on the GBC. The graphics are pretty impressive for the system. The music is good and the characters have a lot of charm. A great start for Shantae.

The dungeons are easily the best part of the game. Figuring out the puzzles and unlocking the next area (while getting collectibles) until you reach the boss.
While the world exploration is fine. There are a lot of instant death traps that backtrack you (without loosing anything you've collected). The main issue I had (besides all the instant death traps) is that you spawn with only 3 hearts even if you've collected them all.

Seeing as I had a good time playing this and loved 1/2 Genie Hero I now have more motivation to play the rest of the series.

A big upgrade from Sonic 1 but still not as good as Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles.

The level design is leagues better than Sonic 1 and you have the spin dash now. You also have Tales following you, possibly messing you up in some things. Compared to Sonic 1 this feels like a completely different game.

Sadly the bonus stages in this game are the worst in the series.

Who knew Soccer with cars would be so fun.

An upgrade and downgrade from the previous GBA game (EDS). Some features were added (such as having multiple deck slots) while other features were taken away (the card password unlock). The way you unlock duelist is interesting, like owning specific cards but not playing them or building a specific deck type.

It's cool that you can now see the "stats" of all the duelist and there are a few more you can duel. The downside to these stats is the luck stat (or cheat stat) making it so the AI knows your face down cards, draws the perfect card at the right time or calls every coin flip perfectly. It was honestly a very annoying thing to deal with. Oh there's also the fact that you have to play with the ban and restricted rules but your opponents get 3 of everything. Luckily the AI sometimes does dumb things like sacrificing a high ATK monster for a weaker one. Also the duels are still very slow but there is a hidden feature where holding the left bumper when selecting a duelist will make the phases go 2x faster.

Overall the game is fine but is held back by a lack of a few features and the heavy amount of cheating the AI does.

Only fun when played with a friend. It can be pretty funny at times.

Main annoyance is how glitchy it can be losing a tool behind or through something ending your chances of completing the surgery.

Fun for a little while with friends.
The physics are all over the place making it hard to get any cooking done.

Overwatch 0.5 they should have just stuck to the original and kept adding to it. Instead they made a bunch of promises that were never kept and monetized everything.

Still fun to play occasionally.

Game was dead on arrival then a few years later it was a little less dead.

At least the multiplayer is a little more fun now that there are more options.

Never did pay to play the story, stop caring after Reach.

It's the Ultimate Smash Bros. they weren't lying. Still sad they never added Dante but added someone like Steve or 8 Fire Emblem characters....

Also never understood why some people took this game so seriously. It's more of a party game than a competitive fighter.

Pretty dated Sonic game. Played this as a kid and it was my least replayed Sonic game. After just playing it again I now know why.

Main reason is because a lot of the levels suck. There are way too many levels that try their hardest to slow you down when the goal is to go fast. They are such a bore while being frustrating especially Labyrinth Zone. Also second reason is no spindash.

I'll probably never play this again but I'm glad it eventually lead to such masterpieces as Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic Mania.

One of the first (if not the first) Yu-Gi-Oh! game to have the official card rules. Pretty simple since it's early 2000s Yu-Gi-Oh! and not the ridiculously broken modern version.

Game plays fine but it's so slow at going through actions. There are 24 opponents to choose from. Most of them cheat knowing the def of your face-down cards. Also, it feels like everyone has mirror force. The bright side is the password system is great. Just input the real card number and get it with no strings attached.

Overall pretty fun if you're fine with older cards. Just requires many duels to unlock everything.

Finally sat down and played this game. It was fun and enjoyable. The story was interesting, the art was wonderful, and every character felt fun and unique (in and out of combat).

Only complaint I have is that the beginning felt rushed and introduced so many characters. I couldn't get a feel for a character because the next one was introduced shortly after. I had to decide if I would change up my party 15 minutes after the last character was added to my party.

Also the final boss was a little frustrating lots of trial and error.
