Amazing game. A scary game that also lets you feel like you're master chief (if you're good at the game)

The game was horrifying even on Hard diffuclty, I appreciate that the game puts you in positions where you need to use every weapon + alt fires in creative ways. Add in the different environmental objects you can interact with by using your stasis, the combat was amazing from beginning to end.

The graphics are ridiculous. I was just about to skip this game since I already beat it two years ago but im glad I didn't, it's a completely different game.

The biggest complaint I have is that by the end of the game I was kinda missing the variety in enemy design that Dead Space 2 had. The only enemies that truly terrifies me were the stasis necromorphs.

Great game. Imma gonna make my young children play this game in the future. I suggest you do the same.

SUCKS TO BE A PC GAMER

This is the best game I've played in 2023 (so far)

If you look at the games I've completed so far that's not really saying much...

But at the same time it's saying a lot because I play MANY games but I only finish the games where I forget that I am playing a video game.

Anyway, the story in this game: LEGENDARY. I don't wanna give away too many spoilers but damn... you'll have moments where you'll think the story is getting boring and then BAM you'll get slapped in the face with something (literally). Also the ending is very bitter sweet but sets up so many questions and speculation for the third game.

The combat in this game: I wouldn't say it is buttery smooth but it's SATISFYING. Every time I play this game it never fails to make me feel like a Jedi Master.

Finally, the graphics: I played this on PS5. Before the patch:
The frame rate was pretty nasty. You could tell on koboh some areas while running around would get very "framey". I switched to performance mode and it was better but still inconsistent.
After the patch:
Everything was fixed and I didn't notice anything.

This game is gonna be top 5 best games of 2023 (for console players).

Buy this game now that the devs released a huge patch that pretty much fixes the game.

The open world is great. Miraidon and the skills you earn to traverse the map to do what you need to do makes the game really fun.

That being said, most of what you need to do is pretty lackluster. I had a great time finishing the pokedex but the gym battles were a pain.

I do not necessarily mind that gym battles are easy in the game but the event/mini game that you have to play before every gym were pretty bad. I was playing Pokemon Black before this game came out and there was always something cool happening with the story before every gym leader. Some of the gym leader characters were cool but having to beat all the gym leaders then the champion and then beat the gym leaders again to unlock 5+ star raids was terrible.

Story was really good thought Area Zero and it's theme song SLAPPED that last part of the story was awesome almost died in last battle.

Shiny hunting in the game was amazing I probably walked away with 25 of them which was really cool.

I maybe could've give this 4 stars but the FPS was inconsistent, its the only game I've had on the switch that would crash on me (in the middle of shiny hunting), and end game content isn't that great I stopped playing the raids after I got Greninja and Charizard.

This game is good as an overall game but great as a fighting game. Fun and doesn't take itself too serious. Plays like MvC2 so it scratches that itch of playing a tag team type fighting game.

I think the best part of this game is the tutorial section it gives in depth instructions not only on how to play Skull Girls but gives fundamental lessons about mastering a fighting game in general.

I actually had fun with this game and was heavily invested into the gameplay loop. Most of my 36 hours playing the game was trying to fix the one road that goes from that first delivery station you start at alllllll the way to the other side of that first initial map (before you reach the snow)

I loved that first part of the game after I could relish in the fruits of my labor and knew other people could take advantage of my work too (fully built roads/ziplines and vehicles up the wazoo for my deliveries)

After they sent you up to the mountains tho and I traversed the snow and lost my roads and vehicles I stopped playing the game.

Honestly tho, writing this review has reminded me how much fun I had with that game. I need to go back and finish it as I think I am more than halfway finished.

The graphics were amazing, no glitches when I played back when it dropped.

Story is really good.

I love these type of indie games. Fun with some good puzzles and a cool story with a creative way of serving all that up in a nice artistic style + a cool ending twist.

Cons:
Game is super short but I got it for $2 so for that price it was a pristine experience.

One of the greatest games I've ever played. I logged close to 200 hours but only because of the multiplayer. The exploration and dungeon crawling with friends gave it the best replay value.

The bosses, enemies, different weapons and even styles of fighting make this game amazing for single player.

I'm not a fan of the vague story telling and story telling through lore and small clues. I didn't care much for the story or any of the characters.

Great game. Waaaaaay better than the first.

CQC is amazing in the game it's actually viable and the more skills you get the better it gets you can make it look graceful once you master it. Really helpful for the enemy camps/human enemies.

Can't ignore the graphics and visuals this game is gorgeous, sexy, magnanimous. I don't think there's any other game where I actually even bother to use the photo mode.

Cons:
This open world formula is pretty boring but I think I'm just jaded from playing so many games where there is no exploration and there's so many markers on the map.

The game that reminded me how beautiful of an experience a video game could offer.

After I got distracted by life and then college (2013-2019) this game clawed me out of the endless mundane cycle of FPS games like Call of Duty and Battle Royale's Like Fortnite.

I experienced what it's like to be fully immersed into a story to the point that you completely ignore the medium. Good movies can do the same but not to the levels that good video games can like God of War.

Atmosphere is amazing. The gameplay is fun but not as good as Hollow Knight. Only a few bosses were a challenge but weren't too much of a challenge.

It's like having a chill 8-bit art style Dark Souls game in your pocket (Nintendo Switch). I can't wait for the second game.

This game made me realize how much I was sleeping on indie games, 2D side scrolling type games and it put me on to the Metroidvania genre too and made me realize how addicting these type of games are.

Art style is great. The fighting gameplay is great and the special moves are cool. Leveling up and getting the medals/badges was really enjoyable.

Cons:
Where is silk song?

Amazing game. Linear af. Story is amazing. Ending twist was also satisfying sometimes I finish games for the story and the ending isn't that good for all the hours you put in but this game was great.

I still have to beat the original Bioshock

Overall thoughts:
Amazing game that got me started to the series and introduced me to Samus Aran whom I thought was a man. I never beat the game as a kid and playing this remastered version I realized why but I still enjoyed playing and beating the game this time around and will definitely play this again later on the hard difficulty I unlocked.

Cons:
> The fact that there isn't a sprint button sucks and is pretty rough when you have to backtrack which is apart of the end gameplay unless you're that good at searching stuff/figuring out riddles or follow a guide
> SPOILER - I remember why I didn't finis this game as a kid because I couldn't find all the Chozo artifacts hidden throughout the map. This part is very rough cuz the movement in the game is kinda bad. There's backtracking in Metroid Dread kind of but at least the movement is amazing in that game.
> The enemies and the different weapons and the shooting is fun but this game is definitely a relic of its time. I wanna say it was 30-40% nostalgia that was pushing me to finish the game towards the end. Still a great game CAN'T WAIT FOR METROID 4
