It's a good first Gameboy Mario game. The physics are weird, especially the running and it's very very short, but also a fun time! The music is incredible though, every tune is an insane bop.

Solid game, which introduced many of the now well-known Mario elements, moreso even than SMB1 and The Lost Levels! It's fine, I like that you can play as 4 different characters and it's fun! Peach OP.

The All-Stars variant is actually playable due to not being an endurance run of your own sanity. The level design is still cruel, unfair and ass on many occasions though. But overall still okay.

A neat remake for a neat little puzzle game. Don't expect anything too ground-breaking. It's simply some light-hearted fun!

It's simply Mario in its purest form - super simple and super fun!

Such a charming and endearing game! I played the original for the first time on the Wii VC in English since it never released in Europe. So this time I played it with the new German translation. The localizers simply did an amazing job!

The game itself is a wonderful beginner RPG with straightforward gameplay and fun minigames and sidequests. It got me super excited for the upcoming TTYD remake!

Without a doubt the best FF on the PlayStation and one of the best FFs ever!

Even after playing through it for the fourth time, I still find new ways to enjoy the simple yet intriguing combat system. I especially love how well thought-out the entire world and experience are.

There is a nicely-paced balance of linear, story-heavy sections and the more open-ended exploration sequences of the world map with fantastic side quests. Not a single location feels pointless or underused. Rather, even the tiniest spot of the world map has its purpose.

And the story and characters just get me every single time. I love the entire cast, the writing is great and the pacing and the emotions are just perfect.

Absolutely carried by its somewhat confusing story. I liked the junction-system initially, but it shows its limits not too far into the game. Still fun to use though! Storywise it was driven and carried by Squall and Rinoa, especially Squall. He's probably the most relatable FF protagonist to me. Overall I really enjoyed it!

A condensed, but very fun adventure with lots of shooting! Definitely great for some light-hearted fun to unwind after a long day of workj, even on the highest difficulty, but don't expect anything groundbreaking.

It absolutely felt like a fever dream, but I can't say that I didn't have fun with it. The OST slapped hard.

After playing the classics, Crisis Core AND FF7 Remake, I could appreciate the quality and ambition of the original FF7 much much more, especially regarding the story.

The materia system is a bit broken, since the final boss was a joke with some basic knowledge of the mechanics, but experimenting around was tons of fun!

The story made me anticipate ReBirth just that much more! I am super looking forward to revisiting all the beautiful locations again with gorgeous visuals.

What an absolute masterpiece!
Each character with their side story felt like a little game within the game and I loved exploring a new town every few chapters.
Combat has also significantly improved since 4 and no character feels truly underpowered.
The story itself was an absolute blast and made me shed a tear on several occasions.

Just unlocked all remaining microgames and after playing some more rounds, I think I'm good for now. It's a cool little game with a neat twist on the usual Warioware principle. If you go for completion, then you'll have plenty of missions to go through. For me, playing it a bunch of times and finishing off some missions was enough though.

Out of all classic FFs, this one feels the most complete and closest to the modern games. The first half was an absolute blast to play through, I did not expect such heavy story beats. The second half was a bit overwhelming, but ultra fun nonetheless. At first I didn't like how many party membery they threw at you, but playing with 3 teams for the final dungeon was genius. Nuking Kefka with Ultima after Ultima was something else.

At first I wanted to go for platinum in every challenge, but honestly I may never be able to achieve that with my skill lmao.
Anyway, after about 30 to 60 minutes you've seen everything the game has to offer. It's still fun to go for high scores and play a bit of online mode though. I'll probably still play it now and again.
