As well-written as it is and as fun as the combat eventually becomes, overworld puzzles often feel like they're answers are not visually clear enough much of the time to the point I was wanderingg around rooms for minutes only to do something I'd already done again and haave it work for some reason that time. Otherwise, it's fun enough for a 10-12 hour game, but even 10 years removed from its release, it still has major issues like cutscenes skipping for no reason, voices cutting out randomly, pop-ins and outs of characters in cutscenes, and major framerate drops out of nowhere.

Overall fun and playable, but feels like a game that wasn't completely ironed out in the playtesting phase.

Pretty good, badges are what make this much better. Level design is lots of fun though it feels like much of the best concepts can be somewhat attributed to Retro's DKC games. Nonetheless, lots of fun.

Still really good. Gameplay, visuals, andd story hold up fantastically. Some chapters leave much to be desired with their tediousness though,
