So this game is deemed the black sheep of the series by many. And I can see why. But that doesn't mean it's a bad game. No no no! If anything it's the most innovative Tekken out of all of them. (Well, it tries to be anyway.)

The gameplay is a lot different and bold due to the uneven terrain on the stages which I see what they were trying to do. But it does mess up combos a lot and the main throw button just has you flipping to the right position. Kinda a big flaw there with the controls.

However, the one thing that this game does better than all the games is the Story. Tekken 4's story mode is sick as hell. It went so dark and I love that they did that! It's the best storytelling they've done throughout these games. I loved it!

(Story note: I don't care what Harada says. Kazuya beat Heihachi in the tournament. Fuck you. Fight me. Kek.)

Speaking of Kazuya, he's back in this one! And he plays really well. But his uppercut I found to be not so effective as other games. Also, his 2P outfit is cool but kinda bland. (Digging the shades though.)

Overall, Tekken 4 is great. It tried to be more innovative this time round by trying new things. Some of it worked. Some didn't. Least they tried it out. I still enjoy this game though. It's one of my gulity favourites in the series. lol.

Also, Tekken Force. sigh. What a pain in the ass that is.

One of the best games I played on the PS4. Story, graphics, gameplay. It's all on fucking par!

Love this game like mad. The music is so good and the story is one of the best I've ever seen in a video game.

Red Dead Online is bollocks though.

This game is the reason I didn't have friends back in school.

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

There, I just defined CS:GO. I'd still take it over Overwatch though.

Not a bad little bundle. For this one disc, what you get is the Blood Vengeance movie, a remaster of TTT1 and a fun little demo of TTT2.

The film is meh at best. If you want a proper review, go to my Letterboxd review right here - https://letterboxd.com/masterdudewalke/film/tekken-blood-vengeance/

The TTT1 remaster is fantastic. Great HD port and just as fun as the original.

The TTT2 demo is quite fun. I love that you can play as the Blood Vengeance Devils whose designs should really have been in the final version of TTT2. (Come on, Namco!) But it was a fun little demo to get you ready for the full game.

But yeah, I'd recommend this. Mainly for the TTT1 HD port.

If I wrote about everything wrong with GTA Online, we'd be here for another 6 years and GTA 6 STILL WOULDN'T BE OUT YET!

Look, it started fine when I got it in 2014 but then the fucking exploiters and hackers really ruined this game. Private Public Lobbies are the best way to play this game and Rockstar won't even let you do it most of the time. It's bullshit.

Definitely one of the worst online games ever made. Red Dead Online is better than this clusterfuck.

I do hope when GTA 6 comes out, they either correct all the mistakes made with GTA V's Online or just scrap Online completely!

Oh my fucking god. Oh my fucking god. Oh my fucking GOD! This might be the greatest fighting game of all time! And it's definitely the best Tekken game ever!

Everything about this game is super epic. The graphics are superior from Tekken 7's. The story mode is insanely good! And Arcade Quest is so much fun.

The new Heat System works so well. And the Special Style's great for new and casual players. Such a great increase of accessibility and innovation. This game succeeded where Tekken 4 failed with innovation.

The music? Fucking epic. And I'm so happy they brought back classic tracks in the Story Mode. Holy shit! Story Mode was so good. Especially the Tournament chapters AND the Tekken Force Chapter (Operation Rebellion). That was so fucking awesome and I hope that becomes it's own mode in DLC or a future update.

Arcade Quest is great. It really makes you feel like a Pro Tekken Player. It's the kind of ego boost DarkSydePhil can feast on kek. But for me, it's pretty cool.

Super Ghost Battle? Well, I love a fucking challenge. Fighting Harada's ghost gave me serious SoulCalibur V PTSD. Hehehe!

Also, Tekken Ball. Great as always. More fun as Kazuya kek.

But yeah. This is the best Tekken game ever made. A hundred times better than Tekken 7 with so much fun. Great stages, great gameplay. Everything about this rules!

Fighting Game of the Year? Too fucking right.

2K. Did. Did you just make a good wrestling game TWO YEARS in a row?!

Holy shit. This game is so good. It's taken everything from the previous game and expanded on it very well this year. New options for MyGM, a funky showcase and even a new match type: WARGAMES! (God I love it when Regal says that.)

Showcase is so much fun and different this time. Instead of just playing John Cena's best matches, you actually play as Cena's greatest rivals and beat him in every match. That's fun and it works well with Cena's message throughout this showcase: Never Give Up. (Super Cena slaps by the way.)

MyRise is...goofy again. I enjoyed last year's more cause it felt more authentic for a CAW getting into the WWE. But this year's feels more gimmicky with the Lock storyline.

It's as if Vince McMahon was secretly pulling the strings when making this MyRise this year. (He's still pulling strings in WWE, let's be fucking honest.)

WarGames is such a fun match to play. I think it's my favourite match type so far on this game because of the destruction and chaos that can be unleashed in this game. I do hope they expand on the mechanics for next year as with more development, this match can be something truly special in the games.

So yeah. WWE 2K23 is even stronger as the tagline says. There's a few glitches and bugs and I do get the odd crash but the quality is very strong. I really hope now for the next game they expand more on mechanics and add even more matches. (I'd love to see First Blood or Buried Alive come back next year!) If they carry on expanding and listening to the audience, I think next year's game will be just as great.

Now. When's that AEW Game coming out? Feels like we've been waiting for that forever? But then again, considering the quality of how AEW is now. I'd probably just rather save my breath asking for it. Kek.

If you love to shoot people then baby, this is your game. You win some lose some but get some fucking sick frags out of it!

This game is one of the greatest classic multiplayer shooters of all time. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is a lot of fun and the weapons are sick. The campaign rocks and multiplayer is the highlight for me. So much fun!

If you love playing games like Doom, Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament then you need to play Quake III Arena. It's such a classic that is still so satisfying to play after all these years. Way better than those crappy modern day shooter games you maggots are used to! (Sorry, Sarge moment kicked in kek)

Remaster please. Bring back the golden days of shooters! We need some frags.

P.S Railgun is so satisfying to use.

Kinda wish I was in 1994. That way, I could see how good this game was. Nowadays, it's just pretty dated graphics-wise.

Still fun to play in the arcades though. And I gotta appreciate it cause it's the one that started a cool fighting game series.

Also Kazuya is the true main character of this series. Fuck Jin.

Yeah, this is 10 times better than vanilla Tekken 5. And it's still my favourite Tekken game.

The new characters are cool. (Especially my boy, Dragunov!) The new palettes for characters are a nice change and customization has more to it which I like.

Jinpachi is actually more of a cakewalk now which I'm so happy they nerfed. Though, Devil Jin is still a pain to fight lol.

Tekken Dojo is a fun concept with ranking up. It gets harder as you go on which is fair even with the AI still being dodgy at times. (Usually against Law Ghosts. Grrr!)

Story Mode is just as fun as vanilla though I am sad it's not on the PS3 version.

Overall, this is Tekken 5 but way better. And it's my favourite Tekken game. The PSP version has more to it with Tekken Dojo and Story Mode so if you wanna play full on Dark Resurrection, then get that version if you got a PSP.

The PS3 version is good and you even get to play as Jinpachi! (Laughs in Devil Gene...) Too bad he's not as strong as when you fight him.

But yeah, Dark Resurrection is the GOAT.

Definitely the best Tekken game out of the PS1 Era. Great roster, good final boss with Ogre (Not Shrek!) and the gameplay gets a lot more 3D which is epic.

Don't understand that Gon character though. Who is he again? lol

Yeah this game is a timeless classic. So freaking good I love it! This is when Tekken really started to pick up with it's 3D elements. Mad respect!

Ding ding ding dong!

The one that started an amazing series.

Asylum might be surpassed by City and Knight but damn, it still holds a soft spot for me. Exploring Arkham Island, awesome boss fights and a really fun story. Its everything you'd want out of a Batman game and I love it.

I always revisit this every year because of how fun it is. Hats off to Rocksteady. This is a masterpiece. Also very horrifying. Croc still gives me PTSD lol.

Dated. But holy shit, the music in this game is fucking sick! Both Arcade and Console! (Console's a lot better though for music imo.)

Be In The Mirror is a criminally underrated song. Perfect for Devil and it represents Kazuya's inner struggle so well.

The story is good. Love the role change between Heihachi and Kazuya.

Devil is still one of my favourite boss fights in the series. Hard as fuck but awesome!

Kinda glad it's on PS5 now. Good for some retro gaming. Hard son of a bitch but a lot of fun.
