I liked the show as a kid OK

By far one of my favorite games on the 3DS. It's the only Scribblenauts game I've put significant time into, so I can't really compare it to the others, but this really is a fantastic game.

A surprising gem for the NES. The Wii version pretty much does this game better in every regard, but it's still a fun game by itself and worth playing for the history alone.

Smash but portable. A bit outdated now that Ultimate on the Switch exists, but you can't fit the Switch in your pocket. Smash Run was also a pretty good time, and at least the local wireless play was functional.

I really liked this as a kid. I only remember a bit about it, but it was surprisingly fun.

I had a surprising amount of fun with this as a kid. Probably hard to really call a game, but I thought the biking was cool since you could explore the whole island. I also remember a meditation game that was neat, though I don't know how it worked. There's no reason to get this now that the Wii is old and Ring Fit Exists, but it's an interesting part of Wii history.

OneShot is a very powerful experience. It's one of those games best played blind, and it's hard to describe without betraying that. The closest game I can compare this to is Undertale, similar in presentation and atmosphere in some cases (they're also both RPG Maker games). It'll make sense when you play it. It does things you'd never expect, and has a very strong mood you get while playing, from the tone and characters. If you don't want to pay for the new version (which is definitely the definitive experience), the original is free, and in a way a much closer version to the original vision.

I've had this game for a while, and it's awesome seeing how far it's come. It's really silly, but fun to mess around in. The running sound alone is enough to turn heads. If you can get a couple of friends to play with, and have a few hours to spare, this game is a blast.

One of the funniest games I've ever played. Only a few hours long, but definitely worth the money.

The only multiplayer shooter that I actually enjoy playing and want to play more. This game is worth it for the movement options alone, not to mention that it has an awesome campaign mode (especially by multiplayer FPS standards), and an awesome multiplayer base. The game kind of got shafted at release due to terrible marketing and a bad release date, but now that it's come to steam, the player base is as vibrant as ever. Can't recommend this game enough.

This game has one of the strongest aesthetics I've ever seen in a game. It just grips this absolute overpowering mood, set by the gorgeous visuals, music (crafted by Disasterpiece), and lack of any words whatsoever. Almost everything you learn about the world is told through the environment and vague picture snippets from NPC's. It has a fascinating air of mystery that I have yet to be able to solve.
The gameplay is also fantastic. The way they implement the boost system, one of the game's main combat and traversal mechanics, is super satisfying to chain and master, and opens up a ton of mechanical depth into the game. If you like fast paced action combat with a strong atmosphere and world to melt yourself into, I can't recommend this game enough.

Pretty much Galaxy 1 but more, which is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination. The main differences involve removal of a story (a contentious topic, but one I disagree with) and the addition of Yoshi, which comes with it's own set of powerups. If you liked Galaxy 1, you'll like Galaxy 2 just as much.

Mario Galaxy is one of the best 3D platformers ever made, no doubt about it. It has stellar gameplay, an out of this world orchestrated soundtrack, and a gorgeous aesthetic. Some of my fondest childhood memories include playing this game (and its sequel) on the carpeted floor in my pajamas, a bowl of Cheez-its to my left and a glass of milk to my right. Do yourself a favor and play this game.

Without a doubt one of the best 3D Sonic games ever made. It's an absolute joy to play, and one of the few games that I've put the time into 100%ing. It's not very long if you're doing the bare minimum, but running through all the levels, gunning for an S rank by acing your way thorough a tough shortcut at blistering speed is just so satisfying. Both the 3D and 2D levels are varied and unique in both aesthetics and gameplay, and don't get old easily. Unlike some other 3D sonic games, the levels are never just straightaways, but also have a clear direction of progression, meaning you don't feel like you're on rails, but you never feel lost . I love how many different paths and optimizations you can take to decrease your time or find secrets, it adds lots of replay value and makes getting those S ranks incredibly satisfying on both the 3D and 2D levels. The modifications system is also a great addition, giving you perks like a bubble shield or a higher top speed that let you customize Sonic to suit your playstyle or skill level. The missions aren't all fantastic, but they're a neat distraction, though there's no real reason to do them all unless you're gunning for a 100%. It also has an active modding community, with graphics and level mods galore. They even made a mod including all the daylight levels from Sonic Unleashed!. Overall, this is without a doubt the definitive 3D Sonic, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who's a fan of the series, or wants to see how fun 3D Sonic can truly be.
