If I was in this situation I would simply walk away.

If you gave me a choice between playing through garten of banban 3 again or watching Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom I would choose watching Salò in a heartbeat.

The human mind is not something most can really comprehend. Its ability give life to the inanimate, to birth languages & actions, and to remember is something that most of us take for granted. Despite our own lack of understanding of ourselves, humanity has pushed on: we’ve explored space, made interplanetary discoveries, and created technological wonders. Gestalts & Replikas are shot out into the vast emptiness of space to explore the furthest ends of the galaxy for thousands of cycles. If they succeed, they get to rejoice in their successful expedition, but if they fail, they will have to accept the natural forces that fate has pushed upon them. And yet, the mind still goes unquestioned.

How does one deal with the acceptance of their death? It's recommended to have your Replika assist you in the swift process of death, but what if they too, fail? Would the human mind persist and prosper? It's an unlikely situation but the persistence of the mind has proven to be strong within the exploration of the infinite universes, and the creation of the complex yet refined Replikas. Our natural instinct to reject death would have the human grow older and older with every passing cycle, crying out for someone for comfort while staring into the cold face of death, their wails creating a beautiful symphony, one that contorts the perception of reality around themselves, corrupting the minds who can't take its wonderful composition, and creating twisted masses and amalgamations of flesh left to writhe where they shouldn't. A song that cries out for someone to fulfill a long forgotten promise, to dance to a long forgotten song. They project their memories onto others in desperate search for someone. The infinite vastness of space quickly becomes claustrophobic in the confines of memory, leaving those who haven't succumbed to the memory's symphonic nature cursed to relive the same day

Kirby is a series while I have not played many of the games I have loved for most of my life, having played super star at a very young age and continuing to replay it every now and then. Forgotten land brings me joy as super star and other kirby games have. allowing the game to be on 3d makes the combat, platforming, and puzzles much needed depth and makes them all the more rewarding. Controls also feel great, fighting helpless enimes and flying around has never felt better, the graphics amd music are top-notch as well. I get the sentiment that they should've had more copy abilities but I honestly think it's for the better here, the more limited pool of abilities allows for hyperfixing on how each one controls and feels, making them great to play around and actually expirement with. In other kirby games I've played, I usually just stick to the main abilities I like, youll with a handful of abilities barely getting used by the end, you'll almost never see me with the fire ability in kirby super star, but with forgotten land I actually want to expirement more, maybe one ability would be better for a certain challenge, or for a specific boss. The games not perfect, some challenges could've been more balanced or thought out, and this game can get pretty difficult at times, especially so for a kirby game, so much it kind of leans on being unfair at certain points, but these moments don't bring the entire experience for me at all, I had a blast and a dumb smile on my face the whole way through. Make sure you 100% the game too, not only is it rewarding and some of the most fun I've had with 100%ing a game in while, but it has some of the most insane series of final levels and bosses I've played in a kirby game yet.

Underground Passageway man: Where have all my anomalies gone??

Me with a suspiciously anomaly shaped lump in my throat: I dunno man it wasn't me

Never even played this but fuck this game

Wow. I mean, I'm kinda blown away by this. For a PS1 game to have this much powerful imagery is kinda mind boggling for me. It gives birth to a dense and emotion packed story about abuse and manipulation, layered under the meticulously crafted setting. It honestly kinda makes me tear up inside, especially with how hopeful this games ending is, in spite of it being in an almost literal hell. Sure, the main combat is serviceable at best, the controls are a little bit clunky, and the bosses can be a bit tedious, but I feel like focusing on those things kinda misses the point. If youre playing silent hill for "the riveting gameplay" you need to play a mario game or something.

kind of like death grips.......

point me to another game that looks more beautiful in game than this i DARE you.
