It's not terrible, but it feels weird in a sense. I can't exactly put my finger on it.

What do you want me to say Mark?

I loved playing multiplayer with my dad when I was a kid and shooting each other with flaming bullets.

Of the 3 of the new trilogy. This one felt the most boring, sadly.

I actually tried this game before. It's amazing. Sadly, for whatever reason, I can't bring myself to finish it. Some day I might, and it will be an amazing experience I'm sure.

Fun to casually come back to. Too toxic for a mainstay.

It's a cool concept, but I feel it ended up feeling underwhelming.

Very fun gameplay, very XD story.

2022

I think Sifu is a mechanically outstanding game, which we will undoubtedly remember fondly, it is a project that is very reminiscent (Obviously) of Absolver, and that knows how to take advantage of what was learned and improve it.
The story is basically an excuse to justify the game's resurrection mechanic, nothing more, the game itself is short and invites replayability of the main mode as well as playing the arenas which takes way much more time than the main mode to complete and filled with references to martial arts and action movies.
Overall, it's a very good game and I'm excited to see what they do next.

A Standard for the genre. I would give it even more starts if only the studio behind it cared at all.

I was more excited for this game than perhaps it deserved me to be. I think it's not all its fault, maybe I just don't like games Kawaii girls and cringe dialogues and it's not because it's a japanese product, it's because the characters are so poorly written.

Overall, it's meh, the story is intriguing at first but it quickly becomes boring, the gameplay is linear, like, no joke linear, it's just one straight line, THE ENTIRE GAME. The characters are very bland, and while the designs are pretty dope, the characters themselves are shallow and no amount of greatly executed CGI can make up to it. The turn based gameplay is pretty good once you pass the first hours, it actually can be pretty fast for a turn based rpg and it keeps you in your toes, easily the best part of the game that sadly doesn't manage to save it.

The story of the game is not a big deal, I think the most important part of this game is the fantasy of power, which is spectacular. However, despite the good ideas it has, the game falls short in many aspects even in gameplay, its main aspect, because although it offers great variety and many possibilities, the controls and mobility can be very frustrating, picking a target or an item up can be terribly complicated, or even moving precisely, which causes you to jump around the map like a wild monkey when you don't want to, and if we're going to talk about that, the camera sucks too, and terribly.

The enemies can be awfully balanced, sometimes you're doing great and suddenly you lose 90% of your life because some character that moves faster than light hit you and threw you all across the map making the camera shake like crazy.
For example, the Supreme Hunter Boss fight. Who designed that? It simply is too chaotic having to fight the boss (That deals around 30% damage in a single blow) and 3 normal hunters at the same time, while 2 blackwatch tanks shoot everyone in sight, and ground soldiers shoot missiles at you, all that while fighting in a very limited arena inside a basement and with attacks that make you bounce like a basketball around the walls. Add to that the fact that Alex can't seem to just turn around and move the opposite way, no, he has to make a U-turn like a semitruck while running at 90mph crashing into all the objects in the map only to be sucker punched by a hunter and launched all across the arena and then impaled by those claw things the Supreme Hunter does everytime you touch the ground.

So, overall this is an entertaining game that fuels the idea of being an unstoppable creature, but beyond that, there is a lot that needs polishing besides it's lack of content that I don't even want to talk about.

Very cozy game, I was able to finish it pretty fast since it's very short. I would've liked to be able to make dialogue choices during conversations, but I get that's not the kind of story they want to tell you about so it's fine. The only issue I had was that in some occasions I made the right drink and the client for some reason told me it was wrong. Besides that it's pretty fun, I would've liked making more coffee in the main story, but the endless mode exists for that reason I guess. I liked it.

I really like this game. Sadly its too stressful for me, it got me clenching my teeth lol.

This game feels more like an experiment than an actual game, which is kinda the point anyways.
