"there were great people on both sides" ass game

tifa, aerith, yuffie, and jessie set the bar too high and ruined women for me

every day's great at your junes~

this game ruined my life. been all downhill since.

pretty art wasted on some white guy's ego

closed the servers for the online stuff barely a year after release cuz nobody wants fun interesting games anymore, only drab "i wish i was a tv show so bad" grey and brown "cinematic" games about a jaded father figure and a dumb ass younger protagonist dontcha know

too hard gave up after 30 hours

for all it's faults, it still manages to be really charming to me. can't help liking this one

really fun little experiences pulled off pretty well. play these with a friend they're a good time

broke my heart replaying this when the collection came out and realizing it actually sucks 💔

Was hugely influential when working on a horror VN myself. Incredible direction making the most grotesque, uneasy, bonechilling atmosphere with nothing more than still images and music. Phenomenal OST.

On the other hand, gets a little too comfortable being gross and horrifying for shock value. MULTIPLE rape scenes doesn't scare me it just makes me wonder what your goddamn deal is. Found out the version on Steam was actually the CENSORED version too. Christ.

Either way, an essential horror experience if you can stomach that kind of stuff.

yea tartarus is a bitch and the lack of direct commands sucks but it's still objectively the best game of all time i don't make the rules sorry fellas

still A version of my favorite game, so it's still a good time. not much i can say about it that hasn't already been said -- female character route is really cool with some nice effort put into it's new presentation, music, social links, etc., but at the expense of flattening the presentation of the entire game into a visual novel format and diluting some of the game's impact. additionally, there are small tweaks made to the female route that i feel undermine and cheapen the original themes a little.

would absolutely recommend as a second playthrough for p3, but wouldn't recommend it as your first.

all the twitter virgins who reference this game everywhere that hopped on when this came out instead of the ones who waited years through all the delays are the reason why i can't stan in public
