Got 60 hours worth of an engaging, fun, and albeit a little repetitive gamplay loop. Don't regret this purchase at all.

Buy if you enjoyed the first one and ignore the negative reviews.

Also don't bother buying DLC unless you REALLY like this game because they are basically the same thing just with different characters and abilities.

This game is fun and overall a soulslike that I find more accessible than many others in the genre. The parry and dodge mechanics seem much more forgiving than a game like Elden Ring or Dark Souls while the boss fights have been surprisingly almost TOO easy after I struggled to beat Pieta. Fortunately for me my favorite part of souls games is fighting the minions between boss fights which may sound silly as I really enjoy the combat and grind of souls games I just hate spending 5-10 minutes chunking a big health bar after memorizing an attack pattern. Thankfully it is saved by very strong combat. The fighting mechanics are fun and much more varied than similar games in the genre.

A lot of critiques I have seen of this game I find to be relatively fair critiques. The two worlds mechanic is the biggest selling point and also one of the biggest dissapointments. It sure isn't a Dishonored Time Travel or Titanfall 2 phase shift level of quality but it is mostly well done. It just begins to frustrate you once you realize that so much of the world is functionally identical except for key sections where you are clearly meant to switch worlds. There isn't any creative problem solving here it is just a method to force the player to dimension hop for a few minutes before immediately hopping back.

The critique of "too many enemies" is valid but I don't necessarily agree with it. Most of the enemies in this game are very easily dispatched and it is pretty easy to aggro only one or two enemies at a time. I feel like a lot of people are just sprinting into rooms and then getting swarmed and not being careful. Sprinting in this game has a huge aggro range and 9/10 my deaths have been due to me sprinting into a room like a dummy and then aggroing every enemy for 3 rooms around me. With all that being said I don't think it is an unfounded complaint. The devs definitely padded the difficulty by just spamming you with more enemies rather than making less enemies that were more challenging to fight. The worst examples of this are boss fights where the devs clearly knew the boss was too easy to fight so they throw ranged minions or cannon fodder at you to add difficulty. A game like Elden Ring didn't need this kind of difficulty padding because the bosses in that game stood on their own as a difficult beast to take down.

Overall I would say this game is B tier. I like it quite a lot personally but I can see how many long time souls fans will dislike it or outright hate it by the time they acquire the Pilgrims Perch key.

Fundamentally this game is a blend between GTA and Brawler games like Arkham Asylum. It is nothing particularly amazing but I found myself enjoying it far more than GTA's single player and it is a much tighter package overall. The melee combat does a lot to add depth to the gameplay but it remains a surface level experience. It is not bad by any means and totally worth a playthrough.

What a PERFECT ending.

This game is more of the first. It has some hiccups along the way but it is just another amazing romp through this post apocalyptic world.

This is my go to chill out and relax game. Awesome trucks, great landscapes, and very fun modding scene. It is held back slightly in the physics department and could use a bit more depth in the truck's engine mechanics but it is still an A tier title.

Honestly on par with F:NV in terms of the RPG of it's era.

Combat is dated but charming as it is like a JRPG mixed with live action.

Underwhelming for what I expected out of it but the devs made a very compelling open world star wars game and it just happened to hook me from beginning to end. It won't have the memories or the heart of the Complete Saga but it holds it's own.

By far the best batman game of the main Trilogy.

Basically a mix of the comic book over the top characters and the movie trilogies action packed set pieces.

This game suffers from the same issues the Halo Wars series suffers from. It was designed to be played with a controller which strips a lot of the dexterity you get from a keyboard and mouse. I give it 3 stars not because of this but rather due to the unsatisfying core gampley. It is certainly enjoyable for a time but easily falls apart and I struggled to complete the campaign let alone have the desire to regularly play the skirmish mode.

I have done 2 50% runs of this game now. I always fail to complete it at around the same point. I want to like this game because of how highly acclaimed it is but I struggle to find the appeal of it. The universe is cool and interesting the combat is simplistic but engaging and yet the RPG mechanics fail to deliver. This game is hardly a choice based RPG when you essentially get the choice between being a right c*** to every person you meet or to be an angel sent by god to fix all their problems. I find myself comparing this game to the Kotor series and fallout new vegas and coming to the conclusion that they both did a better job of delivering solid writing with satisfying RPG mechanics.

Just play it. There is nothing I or anybody can say without spoiling it.

Really good platformer with smooth controls and unique + fun level's. Plus SpongeBob is always a W.

After 100% this game I came back to drop a star. While my nostalgia goggles had me believing this was an A tier title the frustrations of some dated features really got to me. First, Patrick sucks to play as and his special ability is really cumbersome to use. Second, A number of the levels became very frustrating upon returning to them as there was a lot of backtracking that I had to do in order to get the things I needed. Finally, the soundtrack is grating... Like I love the music in the Spongebob games but if you play this for more than like 10 minutes the same looping soundtracks will cause your ears to burn out of your head.

As vast as an ocean, as deep as a puddle.

This game has awesome world building and great atmosphere. It is fun to just run around aimlessly and explore all the cool unique locations. But after you have done that all that is left is very repetitive watered down fallout 4 game play. Not much in the way of depth. A couple Pay 2 Win mechanics that really drag the experience. You will spend most of your time farming materials so you can keep your weapons and armor that break constantly repaired.

You can still get like 30 hours of content from just running around exploring and killing things before it really starts to grind. RPG mechanics are barebones and very sad to see. Even a downgrade from Fallout 4

The base game of Medieval 2 Total war is my second favorite in the series. Pair that with the best mods and extra campaigns the series has to offer it is my personal favorite total war game. None of the others have grasped me as much as this one.

Third Age Total war 10/10
The elder scrolls total war 8/10
plenty of historical mods that allow you to go from the 200's to the 1400's all containing variations of the high quality base game mechanics
